US consulate Islamabad reopening

Aoa, All. 

I need help, my fiancé applied for my K1 visa in nov 2019 and it got approved from America NVC in April and case moved to Islamabad embassy. No reply from them to this day. 

First, please tell me is there anyone else who is facing the same issue as me. I have heard that embassies are working on K1 visas, some has got them. is it true or not. i am really worried. 

Second, i received my case no. but no letter was sent to me or email. What should we do to expedite our case.

does anyone has any information when or if they are working please help.

K1 embassy I believe is suspended in Islamabad, indefinitely.

either one of the 3 options:

1) jan 12th 2021

2) between jan 13-15th

3) jan 19th

 

if not any one of the options, then not sure at all when will we get for rest of May DQ.

From the last few months they are issuing interview letters in second week of the month.  In my opinion all the May DQs will get their interview letter on 12 or 13 January. But you never know it's ISL embassy, they do not work as per logic, they work according to their mood. Hope!!!!

IT COULD BE EITHER 12TH JAN, 13-15TH JAN OR 19TH JAN.

And no my husband didnt take the wedding album. He took 70 pics in hand. Make sure to take nikah and ruksati pics.

 

He took all the documents in like a floder type thingy..

 

 

And OMG! I was worried about my joint sponsor as well lmfaoo.. my joint sponsor who is my sister. Lost her job due to covid and shes sitting home right now since past few months lol.. and plus i made a mistake actually my lawyer did in the affidavit.. but they didnt care..

For how many months did you provide the bank statement. I am so much happy for you girl. Please pray for us too that we all get interview letters soon.  This waiting time is so stressfull.

We took tax transcripts. There were no issues.

if they doing May DQ ID is in both Jan & feb.. how would Dec DQ will be june & July.. any insights??

if they keep same pace i dont think dec DQ will happen before next year..
