there is no way you go without original divorce document of your husband.. or they will put you in AP.. or require you to send it asap to move forward.. i have read a lot of post about it.. they will ask original no matter what.. as much as i understand they would not issue without you providing original divorce certificate of your husband..

I thought you need original documents for beneficiary only. Even USCIS and NVC approve with photocopies because the embassy can easily verify the authenticity of documents issued in the US.

K-1 Visa process (I'm the USC [M])

Sent packet: October 21, 2019

USCIS Received package: October 22, 2019
Notification in text/email: October 30, 2019
Mail received from USCIS: November 09, 2019
USCIS Approved I-129F Petition: May 06, 2020

Yes i am concerned because of this reason too. How am i supposed to have petitioner's original document with me. He had submitted it to ceac but it's not with me.

My cousin divorced her wife and got re-married after 3 months. After all the processing when my "Bhabi" has her interview she took the copy of Court order of divorce, she was not asked about the original Divorce certificate. I am pretty sure that my cousin don't even have the divorce certificate, he only had court order back in 2018. His wife got her Visa after a week in June 2018.

I am pretty sure that you do not need original divorce certificate. As it is logical that this document does not belong to you it belongs to your husband. Plus I also have an experience in  my house.
