Hi, Interview on 3rd Dec. without Medical Exam. Report , passports were returned to complete medical. Now passports are received by Islamabad Embassy on 14th December. Does any body knows when Visa will be issued and passports will be returned?. Visa category is F2A, Expedited , DQ August 2020, Interview was smooth and CO was nice, asked my kids 16 and 14 basic questions and told"every thing looks good , all documents are complete".

Upload all relationship proof prior to interview. Upload latest passport pic as in taken in the last 6 months and take copies with you. Do keep id card of all applicants with you to take shuttle to embassy. Have the original/copy of everything you have uploaded as well as relationship proof. Shuttle area gates open around 6:45 am. Also, if the petitioner goes with the applicants then the petitioner would have to wait outside in the waiting area for the shuttle while the applicants go inside.

So are you saying it’ll be a wait or 13+ for an interview if they are thus slow? This is ridiculous seriously before COVID if use to be 3 month wait process for Islamabad . While other embassy like London or Canada I’m seeing have less wait for interview time.

Yeah it happened because the embassy was shut down… They are scheduling slowly as well and still have a lot of catching up to do. It’s worse for the other categories because atleast they’re working on the IR cases. Also, a few embassies still not scheduling regular interviews so atleast it’s happening for us even if it’s taking a little long.

Also, we saw a date change on our case update but that’s about it.

@podeenaAs embassies and govt offices are closed on Mon, they will most likely issue ILs after Monday.
