Thanks girl! Do you happen to have a realistic list of documents that we need to take to the interview? There’s so many versions and I believe people are taking extra stuff with them just to be safe and I can’t produce some of those items. I just have the required necessary stuff. So I was wondering if you have a realistic list that I can go off of and start preparing the documents?

who are we? if you are spouse then all the regular documents you know better than me. Let me share with you my personal experience at the Interview. First question will be who is the petitioner and you should know all his details and his interests , you might be asked what kind of movies he likes, how many times he visited you, is he is your cousin, love or arranged, how was arranged i mean who finds you for him and at the end they will ask you about wedding pictures and also must have some pictures with him at some public places. The interview will be a kind of conversation and you don't have to stress out for that . Good luck and InshaAllah you will be approved and the officer will say"mubarak ho your visa is approved"....that what she told me at the end of my interview. i never took any chat records.

Okay that’s good news. I’m the petitioner. People were taking about taking call logs, chat records, petitioners Nadra NICOP card with husbands name on it (if the petitioner is a girl), Nadras FRC with family’s names (which will be the petitioner and the beneficiary only) and petitioners utility bills, petitioners drivers license, and some other stuff like that. I never heard that it’s required to take a nadra NICOP with husbands name on it so I’m just confused. I thought you just have to take the documents you uploaded to ceac and updated I-864 and tax transcripts etc and some marriage pics and pics you have together from your honeymoon etc.

Did you or your spouse submit an updated I-864 with 2020 income? If you did, did you use the new version or the previous version of the form?

Does the I-864 need to be updated if the case rolls into a new year?

Yes... everyone who had their interview after may 15 were asked to submit latest tax returns and some were asked to upload updated I-864 as well. This depends on the CO really but after such a long wait for the interview, it's best to upload as much as you can prior to the interview to avoid any further delays as they're taking upto 90 days to review the evidence submitted after the time of interview.

Current I-864 is expiring on September 30th 2021. Any idea when the new one will be uploaded to their website?

The "edition date" is what matters: https://www.uscis.gov/i-864

Edition Date

03/10/21. You can find the edition date at the bottom of the page on the form and instructions.

As long as you submit the latest edition that is on the website you're good... I was confused about this as well so asked a lawyer about this a few days ago
