US consulate Islamabad reopening

I had my CR1 interview today. The counselor took my passport. She told me that my case will be in AP because I have travel history. She also said I neither have to submit any document nor I have to come back to the US embassy, all I have to do is to wait for an email and repy to the email. Does anyone here knows how long will it take to receive the email etc...???

They took your passport. That’s a good sign. They can’t keep it forever. I’m sure you’ll get it in in a week or two..

Yes, I was DQ'd 29 June 2020.

same here my interview was on june 21  and he kept my passport and aid u will recive email i dnt hae travel history ,i didnt recived email yet

I am wondering to know that is there any particular reason that Islamabad Embassy don't want to touch any F2A application and any body knows in the world that when in the world they worked on F2A application in the near past  or there are no applicants with F2A Category?...shed some light please ...my sign of desperation ...right..

I’m sorry I know it’s really frustrating.. do you follow the Facebook page? You could also try to contact the embassy or NVC and ask them if they’re working on that category etc..

Are we required to have 2020 tax return transcript for interview??

Many people haven't received transcript back from IRS yet.
