Hello Every One, any updates regarding F2A for the children of LPR, does any body knows what F2A documentarily qualified date was last time processed at Islamabad Embassy?....our is 8/5/2020. My kids passport will expire in NOV 2022, passport should valid for six months on the Interview day so hopefully get interviewed before next June InshaAllah.

Can husband apply for US visa for different category he is currently in process for his IR1 visa?

We are waiting for my husband's interview date to come since last year. He was document qualified in September 2020. His interview hasn't been scheduled yet. My husband is a journalist and work with a news channel in Pakistan. He has work related issues plans in USA for which his channel wants to apply for media visa for him. Can he apply for another visa category while his immigration petition is in process?

Yes he can. He just had to show that he has ties to Pakistan that will require him to come back and he won’t just stay illegally in America. Also, for September DQ’s I’m thinking we should get IL’s by August-September. I’m also a sept DQ.

the people who posted their dates all had IR1 status so I don't know about others...
