I have English Nikah nama, but that is not just translation. it is as it is. That is my original Nikah Nama.

Many people have experienced issues with an English only Nikah Nama.  if you are already DQ'd, then it may be okay.

According to Islamabad embassy website, they are only doing interviews of Immediate relatives of USC. That means spouses, children and parents of Citizens only

@Zaidi5 I can feel your frustration as you want to see your child. But imagine, if you want to see or live with the same kid 20, 30 years down the road and someone tries to stop you.  What would you do then? That is what Trump administration was trying to implement

I agree. That's frustrating for all of us. That's why I never said to ban any other category. This is where everyone misunderstood me. I meant, they should increase the capacity of Embassies and then open the flood gate of backlog.

But I hear you and I completely agree.

I have realized that a few members have misunderstood me. I would like to clear the air. I have fairly explained my point in the last two replies. My comment might be a little negative for you, I understand that. Embassy have wasted the month of Feb, when they process only 8 days of DQs and now they wasted a whole month of April for spouses. If they worked slowly but steadily for everyone, I could attend my son's delivery. which is around last week of April.  If I knew that I won't be able to attend my son's delivery then I won't let my wife to travel to the US. I thought I'll be in US by the end of March. I also understand everyone's point, that all of us around here are missing our families, I am not the only one who is suffering. My frustration is due to the fact that I might miss one in a lifetime moment.

If any of you understand my feelings, I appreciate it. I am not here to spread negativity, I am here to help and get help from you guys. Good luck to all bothers and sisters.

I understand. This is indeed a very huge moment that you missed and it’s very unfortunate to say the least. I’m sure it was just as hard for your wife to go through the process alone without your love and support. I can’t imagine it. But don’t worry everything happens for a reason and this experience and distance will only bring you guys closer to each other in the future. Insha’Allah you will be reunited very soon as will the rest of us. Just pray and keep your hopes alive and your spirits high. Don’t listen to anyone here, they’re just being ignorant and aggressive. Hope your wife and child are doing well. Maybe it’ll help if your wife could visit you?

oh & many congratulations on becoming a new father! GoodLuck! :)
