Happy Friday Jumuaá Mabrouk Happy Weekend....

Finally here... my daughter is off today to Disneyland (horaary for her) And as eveyone can tell by my severals posts lately I am extremely bored. :blink: Waiting ... waiting... for July to roll around ... uff.What is everyone up to? I think I will go shopping, even thou I promised I would not. :innocent:

hello everyone - i am actually going to help my mom set up for her wedding!! She is getting married tomorrow after being a widow for 8 years..I am so happy for her and it is a happy time for the whole family..its raining hard now, keep us in ur thoughs for nice weather tomorrow....hope all is well with everyone and there are more speedy reunifications for those anxiously waiting.....Melinda :dance:

what is a chigger? :unsure:

I'm here. Waiting to call my dr to refill a script for Lasix. Past two days I can press on my leg and an indent stays there for a good 1/2 hour!!! :blink:

Kids are sleeping. Day 2 of summer vacation and I'm working from home. So nice out today!!! I wanna be a kid!!!! :crying::crying:

me here, still got an ear infection and chigger bites :ranting:

OMG...I've had an ear infection most of this week and none of the antibiotics are helping. :angry: Ear pain is the worst. I go back to the doc today and I want pain killers or I want to be knocked out till the infection is gone. :bonk:

2nd time i've been on this stuff, cipro. it's pretty good. first time i paid for it - $75. this time i paid a $9 co-pay :D

I grew up in the country and got chiggers everytime I would go in the woods and pick blackberrys. The best home remedy was putting clear fingernail polish on the bumps. I know that sounds weird, but from what I understand, that kills them. They have no air, so they die. And that relieves the itching.

I REALLY hate that for you. Those buggers and the itching can drive you mad AND to have an ear infection on top of that. You need some good drugs to knock your fanny out until it's all over. :(

Happy Friday MENA folks!

Let me intorduce my self. My name is Zee. Born in the US, grew up in Saudi, came back to the US for college and have been here ever since :) I call my self a Ghanaian-American with a sprinkling of Arab. Anyways, I am always reading the posts here in the MENA forum so I figured I may as well introduce myself so that people are not like "Who the heck is this random person?"

Just getting ready for my vacation. I can't wait!!! My sisters and I are flying from here to Ghana and my parents are flying from Saudi to Ghana. My mom keeps asking me if I want anything from Saudi. I'm like "Yes, some shawarma would be fabulous". I miss that. My sister (who lives in IL) did find a place that actually sells authentic batatis, in the greased up brown paper bag and all :yes:. SO GOOD!
