Estimated case completion time decreased yesterday

Hi all

 

I submitted my application and had biometrics done last August, 2019. On the USCIS website my 'estimated case completion time' has been stuck at September 2020 for the last few months, since Covid. 

 

However, as of yesterday it DECREASED to August 2020 (this month). Is this a promising sign that an interview may have been scheduled? Or just a random glitch in the system? I can't see any messages online about an interview date yet, so Im not assuming anything just yet.

I submitted my application February 2020 and completed my biometrics in March 2020. In March, my estimated wait time was at January 2021. Then it changed to September 2020 sometime in mid-March. I still haven't heard any word on my interview date though. I've also been seeing posts from other folks who filed earlier than I did in Portland OR that haven't been scheduled for an interview yet, so I don't know if my case completion time is accurate

The estimated case completion still says August 2020, however no interview yet scheduled.  With the furlough looming I'm crossing my fingers and toes that i'll get something this week.

Exactly the same thing happened to me.  mine originally said November and it decreased to August about the same time yours did.  Interview was originally scheduled for April 3rd and got De-scheduled.  I am also in Los Angeles and also a Brit!  Its so frustrating

If the furlough happens, who knows when the interview will happen. Hopefully they will still keep going into September.

 

Is your field office the Los Angeles county one? or the one in chatsworth?

still no Interview schedule as of yet. 
 

anyone have the same timeline and center as i am. Please let me know regarding any movements as its very frustrating.
