Is it possible that they will still send you the biometrics appointment letter after you received the RFIE? I received a RFIE for I 944 on Nov 16, but am still preparing for the docs. USPS informed delivery shows that I have a letter coming from them today.  1409008271_2020-12-0409_09_49-YourDailyDigestforFriDec04-shiwen.zhu123@gmail.com-Gmail.png.0dd3ad3ebcbb07b85fb8bca177664d43.png

Good question!
I also would like to know if there is some relation between RFE and biometrics, some kind of order or if they are processed from different people.

Please, let us know when you receive it today!

Got my RFIE for i-944 2 weeks ago, sending it in on Monday. Same boat as you.

I see Public charged was "blocked" in some states including CA but I'm still sending on Monday.

Good move!

Congrats!

So, after that we can assume that RFE (I-944) and biometrics move in parallel, right?
It seems we don't need to finish one to start another one.

Congrats. Actually it is great to see ANY single movement for Aug fillers. Biometrics appointment is a huge bottleneck :(

Yes, submitted my RFE... 4 months later... no biometrics! Escalated twice and talked to Tier 2 officer twice, and have contacted our consulate in Michigan too, doesn’t seem like there’s been any additional help on these fronts.

It is crazy right now. Nobody knows anything at all. We all feel so mad with this.

Do you guys know how to go about changing your address with USCIS? We are moving next week (within the same state and our service center wont change or anything) but we are not sure exactly how to do it.

Is it all online or do we have to call or something as well?

We moved to a new states a couple of months ago. I submitted the address change online, but I would definitely call to follow up and ensure it has been changed on all forms.  I could see our old state was still referenced online so I called and there was some issue their end. They submitted a separate service request on my behalf, which got processed about 10 days later and I could see the update online. We've received mail at our new address now (RFIE) so I know it's worked!
