I don't remember if they will accept the copy of your degree alone but you can go to their website and they have live chat: https://myiee.org/immigration.html

As for me, since all the copies were back in the Philippines in a folder, I just asked my brother to scan and email me the copies. You might want to check with them if they will still accept scanned copies. I did mine last June when the US and the Philippines were still very much on lockdown.

Thank you. I will have a live chat tomorrow and see. Because the universities in my country can take up to 2wks for an official transcript 😐

Do you guys know if online case status changes or updates when e-request is placed for biometrics? I called yesterday to USCIS and the agent filed a request on my behalf, but I have not seen any updates in case status. I know it might take 30 days for USCIS to answer that request, but just wanted to know that. :)

Still no RFE or biometrics here. When do we start worrying?

Ideally never :) But if you have to worry, I would use a separate worry clock for the two.

Biometrics: A few weeks after people with a similar NOA date and same local ASC report receiving biometrics appointments. Not just the same state/region, but same center -- there's an ASC about 90 minutes away from us that is historically ~33% faster than the one 10 minutes away,. Every office goes at their own pace, and now all offices are scaling back appointments and I'm sure some have had more luck than others with employees getting sick, etc. Can monitor here: https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/uscis-office-closings  (If things progress as they have been I'm not sure the union will let them get away with keeping things open, but TBD.)

944 RFIE: February or March of next year, and only if others are still continuing to actively receive 944 RFIEs and you've completed your Biometrics. Because people have reported receiving biometrics without a 944 RFIE, I wouldn't be too concerned about not getting one yet, or even ever. Applications are still moving without them, and there's a chance USCIS will abandon requesting 944s altogether at some point, maybe even before you receive one, depending on if/how quickly Biden takes action. One less form in, one less chance to RFIE you, less work they need to do on your app, all good things, I think. Still got a ways to go before it's the last thing standing between you and a Green Card -- that's the point when I would think about worrying.

Yeah from my understanding the Tampa office is severely backed up. I am hearing of people who filed in March just now getting their biometrics notices so I have a feeling it’s gonna be a long waitYeah from my understanding the Tampa office is severely backed up. @GetOutside @Toby_HB @Ny2020 did you guys receive your RFIEs yet?

it was the Request for Initial Evidence for I-944, it was to be expected.

But the odd thing is, I received 2 envelopes both with the I-944 RFIE, I wonder why they would accidentally an extra one to me.

I'm planning on sending it in the next couple days but I wonder what the turn around of them accepting and receiving and getting my biometrics appt is going to be.

No changes in mine after rep filed an e-request for me. I did not even get an email confirmation that an e-request was created on my behalf.

Same when I filed one myself - no changes online.

Just got mine today and had the same thing. 2 separate RFIE envelopes for the i-944, weird.
