Quick question: are biometrics a requirement for the combo card to be issued? Or is there a possibility that the combo card could arrive before the biometrics appointment?

Just checked my USPS delivery account, my receipts should come today

Finally got receipt numbers through a live agent on Emma! She said the notice was mailed October 1, meaning 34 days from delivery confirmation to receipt numbers issued. My money orders still say they have not been cashed though??

Looks like i'm getting the physical notices today (according to Informed Delivery anyway) so I'll be sending out the updated I-765 tomorrow morning. I'll wait until then so I can double check it multiple times tonight so it doesn't get rejected again, lol.

08/28/2020 - Package was received by USCIS                                                                                                   12/15/2020 - Online account updated and indicated the I-944 RFIE was sent

09/25/2020 - Debit Card was charged by USCIS                                                                                                 12/28/2020 - Recieved the I-944 RFIE via e-mail after speaking with a tier 2 officer

09/29/2020 - Recieved text notifications from USCIS with reciept numbers                                                  1/11/2021 - Responded to the RFIE and sent the I-944 to USCIS 

10/01/2020 - Recieved rejected I-765 back                                                                                                           3/3/2021 - Biometrics scheduled for 03/29

10/05/2020 - Recieved physical reciept notices in the mail

10/06/2020 - Sent I-765 to Chicago Lockbox using UPS

10/09/2020 - Package was recieved by USCIS

10/30/2020 - Recieved text notication from USCIS with reciept number for I-765

Money orders seem to be a different breed. I had been calling about mine since about September 16 and was receiving no answers, all of my paperwork is dated the 16th for receiving so I think it takes a little longer to show processed with the company

I have a question for those who have had their package rejected and refiled later. Does USCIS use the same receipt numbers for the original filing and refiled application? I initially filed my AOS package (I-130, I-485, I-1765, I-131) on 08/25, but on 09/25 I found that my entire package was returned to me due to credit card payment problems. I then refiled my package on 09/28 (added personal checks this time), also making sure to add the new edition of I-765 and also added the I-944 in the refiling. In the rejected package, a receipt notice/I-797C was attached to each application with corresponding receipt numbers. I am wondering if they continue to use those same receipt numbers when someone refiles, or do they issue new ones. I ask because I am curious if I can track my case status online with these receipt numbers.

Yes, I sent the I-693 with my application. The only thing missing was the I-944 :(

No. You will get a new set of receipt numbers since your whole package was returned. My old receipts did not update anymore after they got my new submission.
