Usually the receipts numbers for the cases is one after another. Try changing last 1 digit of the case number you have, In my case 4 of the receipt numbers are like: 4,5,6,7 (last digit)

Yep I just figured that out! Lol.

Question, will I get a text for the I-130 as well even if my husband is my petitioner? The G-1145 we submitted have my info on it

Yes you should be getting text for all the cases. In my case they sent all text to my spouse number even though her number was mention only on I-130 G1145 so i guess they just pick one number for notifications.

You're good. 12/26/19 edition sent before August 25.

I would say 90% chance that no, you will not need to resubmit. The thing stopping that from being a 100% chance is because you used FedEx, and not USPS. The rule USCIS states is

"If you send the 12/26/19 edition (which is the old edition):

  • We will not accept this edition if it is postmarked on or after Aug. 25, 2020."

Only the USPS can give a piece of mail a postmark -- couriers like FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc. cannot.

USCIS stated policy with couriers for their fee changes is to go by the "receipt date" which is the date that the courier declares the package received (not the date it's ultimately delivered), which is usually the day you dropped it off or the day after. So your packet should be within the window, despite the package arriving on the 25th. If the employee who received your package was in a really bad mood they may reject, in which case you'll need to refile. But I think you said NOAs were coming in the mail for you, right? You'll know soon enough!

Thanks so much!!! So will the NOAs tell me if the work authorization application was rejected?

I’m wondering why the dates are different when I plug them into either the general USCIS page to check receipts versus when I add them to myUSCIS?

One says “received Sept 1” and another says “received Sept 17”

NOA tells you they accepted your application. In case of rejection, they send rejection notices.

Oh I see! So I would receive a rejection notice instead of an NOA?

Thanks! I'm a bit confused about why there are so many different places to sign up to track your case and/or plug in a receipt number. I signed up at that link and it shows the earlier receipt date, which is good. No other info yet though.

Hi, I'm feeling a lil nervous. My package was mail Aug 17, delivered aug 22. Sign by t thomas.I haven't recieved any text any email. Therefore I spoke to a live agent via emma on sept 21. There was no receipt notice in the system. They told me to contact uscis lockbox via email to do an inquiry. I sent the email same day. Going on today the Sept 26 haven't heard anything. I'm the beneficiary (parent). Anyone else experience this, or any advice. I sent money orders, so can't tell if checks were cash.

So my two pending charges just disappeared today. I have had this happen multiple times before and that the charges posted a couple of days later when the merchant actually posts the charge on their end.

I am hoping that this is what happened. Did this happen to anyone else?

Never heard of that but if you experienced before maybe normal. Have you tried calling your credit card company to see if they see something in their side. Regardless I am sure you will get your text messages by Monday so that will address your concerns! Good luck

I called my bank and they said that it does not say that it was denied on their side and the fact that it posted as pending means that the payment was accepted. In other words, I'm pretty sure that it is what happened and that the payment will get posted sometimes next week (my bank is virtually dead over the weekend).

Again, this happens every once in a while with other charges so i'm sure its fine. I'll just wait for my reciept numbers. How long does it usually take to get the text messages?

Feel free to take a look at the AOS notes on my timeline to see how long it took us to receive our text messages

Pending charges dropping off is a non-issue. USCIS would not have attempted the charge and the bank would not have posted as pending if it wasn’t ok.

In the past month texts have been as quick as one day and as slow as 10 after payment processing. They’ll come when they come, nothing you can do but wait now, but there’s really nothing to be concerned about in the meantime. All indications are that your packet has hit the next level.

Yeah, that's what I figured. Again, I have had this happen with other charges so i'm sure that it'll post sometime early next week and like you said, if it posted as pending, that means it was accepted and went through so I'm sure all is well.

Got it, i'll be patient then. Maybe i'll give USCIS a call to see if I can get my reciept numbers on Monday, i've heard of people doing that 🤷‍♀️
