Just a small update from me. I received the three texts on my phone with my three case numbers. I was surprised to receive them on a Sunday night! Haven’t received my Noa1 yet but hopefully it’ll come soon. Good luck to others waiting :)

Excellent! Our receipts came in this afternoon too. We had the same payment processing date (the 4th), so it looks like they may be working in batches now.

The average time to receive texts in August was 4.5 calendar days after payment processing, so it looks like things are slowing a bit but fortunately for all of us still moving!

Crossing my fingers for a cashed check tomorrow! The slowing down really worries me as we are almost half way through September already!

Fingers crossed for you! Good chance it happens by the end of this week and really good chance by the end of next.

And no need to worry about the fees -- I checked our status online with the receipt numbers just now and the current message for the I-130 is that it was accepted on 8/21 (two days after our packet arrived at the lockbox), despite the payment not being processed until weeks later. So even if their process has changed a bit they're still backdating to somewhere around date of receipt, not payment processing.

(But for any potential September filers who are reading this and potentially living on the edge -- get your apps in! I'm not sure how they'll treat an app received on the 29th but not opened until the 1st...)

Yay! I got them too! So weird to get them ln Sunday night. In my case they were 4 SMS. And no NOA1 yet neither but I bet/hope they will arrive during this week.

Our package was received on August 20th and the fees cashed on September 4th.

Thanks for your response Carolina.

Actually, I've called USCIS multiple times and there is no record.

I've already tried the email support, but it seems very difficult to receive any response, I've seen many people complaining about that email.

My concern is that my package was lost in somewhere.

I'm thinking about the new package and if I could be charge twice, but I sent the "credit card authorization" in the first and my idea is to send another "credit card authorization" again or a personal check.

In that case, just 1 package is gonna be charged (the old or new, whatever) and the another one would be rejected (because I wouldn't have the enough funds in my account).

What do you think? It's good to know other opinions.

Thanks.

My package was delivered 08/17 to Dallas Lockbox and I haven't heard anything about since. No charges, no receipts.

My deadline is gonna be 09/17. If I don't receive anything until there I will send another package because I'm concerned that news fees are coming.

What carrier did you use and do you have a signature confirmation for the delivery?  If it was delivered, I really doubt it was lost inside USCIS, probably just taking some time.

One thing is that most people here applied through the Chicago lockbox. Timing at the Dallas lockbox may be different!

If it was me, I would not send a second packet. Basically the reason you haven't heard yet is likely to be one of two reasons:

1. Internal delays at USCIS

2. Package rejected

If the reason is #1, then there's nothing that sending a second package will do to accelerate things. If anything it may actually confuse the USCIS, cause them to reject a package that's already in progress, etc. Unless you get the advice from USCIS that they want you to send a second package, I would not.

If the reason is #2, then the packet rejection will come with a notice telling you what was wrong. If you just send a second package again, whatever was wrong is probably going to be wrong again, causing another rejection.

Basically the only scenario where sending a second packet works is if the packet somehow vanished without a trace inside Dallas. I'm guessing that's not that common, but I could be wrong. Have you seen other people report missing packets in Dallas?

You will really be messed up if you do that. Don't do it you'll be sorry!

Thanks Carolina, partyintheUSA and Sarge2155.

I sent through USPS and my last tracking update was "Delivered and is available at PO BOX on August, 17 in Dallas, TX".

I don't have much information about Dallas Lockbox. I only found delayed cases in Chicago or Phoenix, so I'm trying to base on them.

I also didn't find any recent case about "package lost" in my Lockbox or another, I just saw some random cases on Google.

Well, thanks for your answers.

I'll wait until the end of the week and see what's happens.

I'll keep you guys updated.

Thanks.
