If your forms are accepted, they'll be dated before the fee increase. If they're not, you may still have a shot at submitting them before the deadline depending on when the packet is returned to you. 

 

Intake slowed down in the second half of August. The mid-August marriage packets averaged ~16 calendar days to charge payment (and that was before a potential staff reduction and a holiday), so it's not at all out of the ordinary for you to not have heard yet. Sending good energy for this week but don't be nervous if it slips to next.

 

I haven't seen anyone post about receiving texts who had their payment processed after September 2nd. Maybe they reduced the  number of data entry folks in their staff cuts... 

Oh ok thank you!! I hadn't noticed. But then, how do people manage to get their receipt number by calling USCIS? I mean, when I call, I get the automatic voice that asks me what I am looking for and I keep saying that I would like to get my receipt number and she keeps saying " you can find your receipt number on any correspondence/mail USCIS sent you... lol

 

I guess I might just have to be patient and wait till I get the physical notices in the mail, whenever that might be..

I haven't used the phone yet, but if it's like most automated services you can probably tell the automatic voice you want a "representative" or "agent" and they'll give you a live person and then you can ask them to look it up. I'm planning on investigating that if I don't receive texts or receipts by the 25th. Given the holiday last week and USPS slowdowns I'm not really expecting them until that week, but earlier would certainly be a bonus!

Got our notices! Can I use my alien number for anything? I.e. submitting school applications?

Also, are courier packages treated slower than Usps?  Does it make a difference once received

I don't think ours have been rejected. It is still early days but if mine has been I will definitely cry but my husband and I checked both packages more than once whilst doing each one and then once completed and again when sending so hopefully they are just slow.

I just get anxiety easily and well I’ll be shocked if the process doesn’t drive me to drink lol.  One receipt notice would be great

I have anxiety so I feel you. I think about it every single day haha. So I would LOVE to have checks  cashed or NOA1

We almost did the i130 online but I received mixed reviews on the affective ness with AOS and I almost wish that I at least did that lol
