Checked on my money orders, haven’t cleared yet but I didn’t expect them to anyway LOL

What type of money orders did you guys use? (Moneygram, Western Union..?)

And when did USCIS receive your packets?

My packet was received on the 20th of August and I used Moneygram money orders and I keep checking and still says "not cashed yet".

I wonder if the status tracker is accurate but I'm guessing it is..

I used Amscot, it’s a local Tampa area company.  My package was received on the third so it’s early days for me

Just personal checks.

Ours was received on the 28th.

Oh it's easier with personal checks to track them.

Good luck!

I've been lurking on this thread for about 2 weeks now, and I figured that I'd add my timeline.

08/17/2020: USCIS received my package

09/08/2020: Received text/email notifications

09/09/2020: USCIS cashed cheque

Maybe because of the labour day holiday, the cheque posted AFTER I received my notification. I'm in EB2 (Phoenix lockbox) category, I-140 already approved, and sent mine in without the I-944. Hope this helps someone!

Oh, it´s curious that my case has a different order;

08/20/2020: USCIS received my package

09/04/2020: USCIS cashed the money from my bank account (we paid with debit card)

09/09/2020: Still waiting for text/email notifications and NOA.

As best as I can tell the "typical" order of for Chicago lockbox adjustments (where many of us file) is:

1. Package received

2. Payment processed

3. Digital Notifications (if at all -- some people never receive them, despite including the form)

4. Mailed notifications

@werrerr filed in Phoenix, where things may be slightly different, so I wouldn't worry about it as it relates to your case! FWIW we haven't received text/email notifications or NOA for our 8/19 package. (Payment was processed 9/4 for us as well.)

That’s awesome!

Mine was received Aug 15th Sunday. And nothing yet, no email or text... Did you call to find out that they were sent Sept.3 or did you receive an email/text?

Thanks!

An update for my and my wife’s cases. They were received from USCIS on Aug 18th. Receipt notice was mailed 1st of Sep.

Interesting is that I-131 and I-765 status is case was received. But for I-485 status is “fingerprint fee was received”.

Does anyone know if that means that they plan to send me a mail with biometrics appointment? Weird is that this is only updated to my I-485 case and not at the other two (I-131 and I-765).

I got the same notice for our 485 -it seems pretty normal. From what I’ve read the biometrics appointment is the next step.
