I am still waiting for those pesky text messages so I know they accepted my packets sans I-944. Biting my nails!

same, still waiting for a text message and for them to charge my credit card. I submitted mine a week before yours.

A week before? That makes me sad as I might be waiting awhile yet. Honestly if it wasn't for the fee changes I wouldn't even be worried at all!

Oh okay I thought they would have cashed the check first before they sent text messages. My friend filed end of July. Her check was cashed 13 days after receiving package. And on the 15 day she received text messages and 20th physical notices in mail

Maybe she got lucky! I have mostly seen notice of receipt texts around a week later and then checks cashed after that but honestly who really knows. You kind of just get what you get lol.

Ha yes knowing them they will let us know Oct 2nd ;) With these so called

operational delays. FYI I’m on calendar day 15 and still not cashed check or text receipt.

Which would be bad if a rejection as I have a K1 and K2 to pay! Oh, I am only on a week tomorrow so still early. Just so ready to be done lol

They received it Friday morning (8/28) so I know that I am still within the normal time and not to worry yet. No checks cashed but that can take upwards of 20 days I have seen here so I am not expecting my checks to be cashed just yet. I am waiting on those text messages right now.

Getting the text messages is NOT the golden rule there have been many cases where you don't get any notifications and your NOA will just show up in the mail. So not getting a text message is nerve racking yes, but it does not signify anything insofar as a rejection or denial. Remember anything is possible with USCIS especially in these times. The only thing you can be sure of is USCIS and Uncle Sam WILL get their money have no fear about that!!!!!!!

How's everyone? Just wondering if any of you guys got same timeline like me who sent their AOS packets [AOS, EAD, AP included] on August 17th. Did you hear anything from them?

When's the advisable time to call them to inquire?

Just wondering because there's no record of the cheque  being cashed and no sms as well.

K1 Visa Adjustment of Status Timeline
08/14/20 - AOS (I-485, I-864, I-765, I-131) sent to Chicago lock box

09/04/20 - Check has been cashed

09/11/20 - Received NOA

10/29/20 - RFE for I944

11/10/20 - Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received

04/30/21 - Biometric Appointment

You'll have to give them 30 solid working days before you panic, that was the time frame even before the pandemic! USCIS usually responds within 30 days that's working business days not counting weekends and holidays of course. Just relax it's coming!!!!

Just call them, you paid close to 2k. Anytime is advisable with that type of payment!

The payment does not have anything to do with how fast USCIS acknowledges receipt of your packet and or getting your numbers. Again you can be 500% sure Uncle Sam WILL get his money! I say again 30 working days then you can freak out!

Yeah! Like I mentioned if there was no fee increase I wouldn't mind but there is and I just would hate to be rejected and have to suffer with the new fees lol. Only reason why I am stressed!

That is my concern as well. I just want everything done and in before the fee increase

Please relax folks this is only the first leg of your AOS journey. You got through the K1 portion (or however you filed your AOS) so relax, not even a month has passed since any of you have filed. You will all be fine. Save that stress for when you really need to stress!!!!😃
