did you file I-131 and I-765 concurrently ?

Yes I did.  Filed I-485, I-864, I-131, and I-765 together.

Honestly, her being able to find employment is not really important to me since I am fine supporting her.  I just care more about the social security card for authentication purposes.

I just got off the phone with the USCIS.  They said once I receive a Receipt# for my submission, I can write a letter referencing the mistake and authorize them to make a change on the form; which for me is the category number.  Has anyone else done this before and been successful with doing that?

A6 category is for a person applying for an EAD after k1 entry, but before applying for their AOS. There is a separate fee for this.
C9 category is for a person applying for EAD concurrently with their AOS. The fee is waived.

Therefore, your $1225 fee will not match up with someone who claims an A6 category. You will most likely get your whole packet rejected as the fee doesn’t add up. Assuming you did everything else correctly, just change it to C9 once you get it back and off it goes again.

If it hasn’t been delivered yet, call the courier service ASAP and have it intercepted and mailed back to you before it gets delivered to USCIS.

Sent off our applications just now. It’s late so post dates for tomorrow so I’m hoping no weird spur of the moment I-944 news tomorrow as I didn’t include them. It’ll arrive there Friday so now I’m nervous! Hoping it all goes well!

*Fingers crossed*

Congratulations to all that got their packets accepted. It's  a much easier and faster mix since the I-944 is on hold.
