Case updated to April 7th, Interview was scheduled.

Is there any way to know when is the interview date other than waiting for the mail?

Excited but also nervous at the same time!

Same! My interview was scheduled yesterday!

As far as I know the only other way is trying to call USCIS.

Hello everyone! So I just received my EAD/AP approval notices where it states that my card will be mailed to me separately. However, it says on my case status that the card was delivered to me. I also have the tracking number through informed delivery which says that I have one package delivered from the USCIS. We just went to the post office and only received the two letters (approval notices), but not the card.  Has anyone had this problem and just received the card a couple days later or is my card lost? 😭

My I-485 status changed today and says my interview was scheduled. Still waiting for the letter in the mail but I'm a bit concerned.

I have an appointment to renew my passport on April 20 and my consulate typically sends the new one in 4-8 weeks. From my understanding, the interview is usually set a month after the status changes. I might not have the new passport on hand by the time my interview date rolls around.

I did not apply for an EAD and AP. Should I reschedule the interview or can I just bring the old passport? It expires in June but they punch holes into it when you renew. Will this be a problem?

It seems like you should be fine if you have your current/old passport. Worst case scenario, they'll probably just ask you to submit your renewed passport before giving you the green card but based on what I read, it shouldn't be an issue.

It's not a problem. Just tell them and bring something to let them know that you just renewed your passport.

False alarm. I received my EAD card as well! Now I'm not sure if I need to go to the SS office to get the SSN or will they send it to me? Thanks

I received my EAD a month ago and so far no SSN, although i requested it on my EAD form....it's taking forever to schedule appointments with the SSN so my thoughts to you, from my experience, is to call the SS office and schedule an appointment to get a SSN and, in case your SSN arrives before the appointment, you just call them back to cancel it

Honestly, that's what I'm thinking as well at this point. I'd rather get the EAD first so that I can start working but I have a feeling I'll have my interview first. Ugh...........

Funnily enough, hubby's EAD just changed to "card is being produced"! Hoping you have the same luck. Still no interview scheduled.
