Thank you! Don’t worry. That’s not unusual. Not all IO work the same way. If you presented good bona fide evidence, so there are more chances you get an approval than a NOID or RFE. You’ll see movement soon

Thanks for the optimism, I may just be a worrier but I'm not as optimistic as you. Tomorrow marks 30 days since out interview and the status on our case has not changed.  I am  still getting the feeling that our IO may have been homophobic and or ageist as there is also an age gap between my husband and I.  I really hate to be judgmental or to make stereotypical assumptions, but my gut is telling me our IO is looking for any possible way to deny us.  Ultimately, I know we will be successful in obtaining his green card, because our relationship is successful and we have all the bona fides necessary to prove the validity of it. , but I just feel like we are being put through the ringer because of long held prejudices by some folks. I't's frustrating when I see so many folks getting approved on the day of their interview in cities all over the country, but in SF... not so much.

Had interview March 25. I, husband, went in first and the guy asked me for verification and my job and told me I was going yo be approved. My wife, the one getting the AOS, was called afterward and asked to verify some information. The nice guy told us both we're approved. 10 min after, status updated to new card being produced.  It seems that me being an engineer helped but also the guy interviewing us was super super friendly. Questions asked, when you met your wife, where, and how what first time. He asked me to verify my family and when did I become a citizen. He asked me about my job and when did I meet my wife.

@bdglen don't worry! I saw someone saying that his status online changed 60 days after interview.

We know that there are so many different cases here, but at the end everyone will receive his expected response.

By the way, I liked your timeline, it's very fancy and customized.

Good luck 🙏

@DanCode7703 Thanks, I appreciate your comment. I understand that some cases are difficult and complex and may require extra time, but 60 days after an interview for status to be changed is too long and an unreasonable amount of time when dealing with a simple case like mine.  It all seems so arbitrary to me and it remains frustrating.

Any other August filers waiting on a 693 Deficiency notice and/or your online 485 status to update to "Interview ready to schedule" after biometrics?

Also, has anyone received random texts from USCIS with no status update? We received 3 separate "Your case has been updated" text messages at the beginning of the month, but there were no changes to the status online (Case still shows "Fingerprints have been applied" since 2/10). I assume it was a glitch, but concerned as our mail constantly gets mis-delivered to neighbors.

I got mine done yesterday and my I-765 updated to "

Combo Card received.     Telephonically initiated expedited request for EAD and AP to USCIS on 03/02.   On 03/12 received notice to fax expedited request/submission to Lees Summit, which was completed on 03/15.  On 03/18 was advised new card was being produced.  I received my Combo Card in the mail on Wednesday 03/24.  Having requested SS card in 485 application, we were curious if SS had received notification from DHS, so we called SS today to see if they had received any information from DHS.  SS, as has been usual for us, was their typically unhelpful, and worse still, their typically untruthful, selves.   We were advised that there was no way for SS to tell if SS had received any information from DHS because SS had no method to search by name.  Silly.  Oh well, at least we have the EAD/AP, and we continue moving through the process.....

I received an update after biometrics of  "we are ready to schedule your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, for an interview. We will schedule your interview and send you a notice". No text or email notification for this update was sent.

235 days and still no biometrics 😔😔

Request to speak to a Tier 2. They will call back in about 2 weeks, but will perhaps prompt someone to review your file in the meantime.

I requested a call and they told me tier 2 can’t make biometric appointments.

Yep, we have RFE received status so waiting (im)patiently for the 693 deficiency and/or ready to schedule for interview. Dragging feet on just going ahead and doing the medical because the cost is ridiculous. 🙄 Our insurance is switching on May 1 so if it takes that long at least we can go ahead and get the vaccine he still needs covered by insurance. And the TB test. And anything else possible to lower the cost of the medical. Lol
