Yeah the celebrant gave us the license and we took it in and got our certified copy instantly - pretty easy process thankfully!
Definitely! We are both going to take a packet each and go over it and then swap and go over the other one!

Very good!

Hi guys, I'm new in this forum. My wife and I applied in August (USCIS received the forms on August 5th). Since then, still no Receipt Notice or anything else. Any suggestion? Also, what time of the day does USCIS usually send texts?

We got our NOA texts around 5pm PST on a Thursday. I remember reading others have gotten theirs in the middle of the night (not sure what time zone they were in though). I’ve also read others have gotten theirs on a weekend. It sounds like it’s random and there’s no specific time or say they send them out.

Quick question. I have printed out the page with the injunction and even highlighted specific bits including that we won't be rejected for not including it. Should I write a letter as well stating this or leave it as that? Then, where should I sit this in the packet?

I know some of you have submitted it with this form as well so :)

Thanks!

Yeah mention that on the cover letter and reference the injunction in the attachment.

Also, if it's worth. In the I-485 application where it ask you for the I-944(item number exemption or not, etc.). You can also include explanation for it at the end (in those boxes on the last page).

If you refer back to page 2 of this thread, you can see how I incorporated not including I-944 in my cover letter. I then put the injunction letter after the cover letter (before the actual application and supporting documents). And I underlined the important bits in the injunction letter. USCIS scans everything. Things highlighted don’t show up well in scanned print outs, but underlining pen marks do just FYI. That’s all I did- no addition supplement letter or anything.

I sent my concurrent AOS and petition today. I also included my I-944 since I've been working as TA on my F-1 visa. I put n/a in certain places on all applications with questions that don't apply to me and some spaces are just blank.

Wish me luck!

Thanks everyone! I took your advice. Almost done now.
I am glad my I-944 as I received my ECE report today - which I need for my job anyway. They spelled Japanese incorrectly and so I want a new one. I don't want to use that with such a blatant mistake. They also didn't include my two other certificates or even return them. So I am pretty bummed about that as they were spoken about highly here!

Hiya I just found this topic, we filed the AOS, EAD, and AP on 8-17, Shipped by UPS delivered on Wednesday 8-19 at 10am, no notifications from USCIS or credit transactions from them yet.

Your packet arrived a few hours ahead of ours! Under normal circumstances it looks like it usually takes ˜10-15 days before any kind of action on a Fedex/UPS package (USPS are often processed quicker, but I didn't want to chance it given their current condition.)

Unfortunately no clue on what impact the looming furlough is going to have on these timelines. Expecting massive slowdowns...

Just double checked my packets and I am sending them off this evening once my husband gets home. So they will be dated today but sent tomorrow. Nervous about not sending i-944 but attached proof so hopefully I get lucky and get approved without it.

I was just looking at my forms and they're all good but my father-in-law dated his I-864 as YY instead of YYYY. Is that a huge deal?

I don't  think it would be a big deal, but we can't  answer that,  I'm thinking you'll  be fine.

Do you need to send the I-944 if you have worked on-campus on your F-1?
