Contacted USCIS and they said that my daughters biometrics were in the system but not updated on her case status and sometimes they just don't do that. Not really reassuring? Her stuff still just says case was received. So, I then asked if we might get separate interviews for AOS as that's what the last USCIS worker said and this one said my  three year old won't even have an interview as she is too young. I asked how she will get approved and they said based on what I submitted for her and myself. Then they went so I couldn't ask anything else but I am worried that if she doesn't get an interview her case status will be in limbo forever and it won't get approved lol. Just like her EAD/AP. So stressful.

I have my biometrics in a couple of days! It looks like they take fingerprints and a photo? What is the photo used for? I'm asking because I'm trying to decide if this is a makeup situation or not (super annoying with a mask on). I'm willing to deal with the makeup stuff if it's going to be on my green card for the next 10 years, but if it's for security purposes and I won't ever see it again, then I might go without makeup...

It will be the picture on your green card! Prepare as necessary ;) :)

Hello guys, a few updates to share with you.

I had biometrics 7 days ago (02/10/2021). That same day, my status changed to Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken for both I-485 and I-765. The next day (02/11/2021) my status for I-485 changed again, this time for Case Is Ready To Be Scheduled For An Interview. And yesterday (02/16/2021) my status changed to Interview Was Scheduled. So much movement in less than a week! I don't know my Interview Date yet, I will have to wait for the notice in the mail. Thus, my timeline is as follows:

Filed I-130, I-485, I-765, I-131, I-944.
Marriage Based.
- PD: 08/03/2020
- NOA1: 09/11/2020
- Service request about a notice I didn’t receive (biometrics): 11/12/2020 (never got a response)
- NOA2 (biometrics notice): 01/25/2021

- Biometrics appointment: 02/10/2021

- Interview Scheduled: 02/16/2021
- Hialeah, FL Field Office per zip code

No changes in the case status for I-130, and I-131 other than Case Was Received.

I-765 case status remains as Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken.

Congratulations! Your case is moving fast! I’m in Dallas and have been ready to be scheduled since 02/02/2021. Hoping I get my interview scheduled soon too! 🙌🏼

My status for I-485 (but not I-765, although, to be fair, my I-765 was rejected the first time around and I re-submitted it several months later) was changed to "fingerprint taken"! I think I've finished everything that needs to be done from my end (I'm EB2, so my interview could be waived... hopefully!) so I'm now just waiting that the green card will arrive soon!

Feel free to complain! It sucks!

We had our appointments at the same time and I received my card this month. I have complained to the online chat four times about my daughters and I have had no help. She doesn't really need it as she is three but I wanted the SSN. No movement on our AOS either so it's just frustrating!

Very! And you can't say it's still because of Covid because there have been Brooklyn and NYC applicants who got their EADs with similar timelines.
