Is it a Code 3? You could try mentioning that you also have a pending I-765:

Wow! Yes, my appt letter says that it's a Code 3. So it looks like I might not need another one, since Code 3 is way more strict than Code 2 required for I-765. Fingers crossed, because it's really far to the ASC office from where I live, I hope I don't have to make 2 trips! Thanks for the link!

Congrats on the code 3 biometrics!

If its a code 3 you should be fine and wont need to do another biometrics appointment.

Small update on my inquiry to our congressman- USCIS responded to them to say they won’t review the information because I (the USC) signed the release form and not my husband.

what an annoying waste of one week, but at least he just needs to sign the online form and they can forward that on to USCIS.

main take home- if anyone is going to contact their congressman make sure the beneficiary signs the online form.

Thats unfortunate :( at least it was only a week of time. Hopefully your congressman comes through and he receives his EAD soon with no more set backs. I wish you guys luck!

Anyone here from Louisiana have any updates?

Aug 18th: Submitted I-130, I-131, I-485, I-765

Receipts on Sept 8

Sept 18 bio fee accepted

Nothing since. I've seen a lot of people are finally getting biometrics from August. Contacted senator, ombudsman, uscis multiple times...the story is the same. They can't do anything until biometrics are done.

No, we did that too. And the medical form. There were so many forms, I may have forgotten a couple. Our lawyer prepared it all.

Hey fellow Canadian! Just wanted you to know that my fees were accepted Sep 3, and I got the biometrics appointment yesterday. It looks like you're still in the COVID-reasonable time range, so hang in there! I hope you get your appointment soon :)

Did it say anything online, text, email or did it just show up in the mail? I've read that a lot of people are not getting any notifications and it's just coming in the mail.
