Had my biometrics done for EAD on 01/07/2021, but there was no update on the case after the appointment was done (no "Fingerprints taken" message). After about a week, I started going through Emma trying to reach an agent to figure out what was the holdup. On 01/18 I managed to get a hold of an officer and she submitted my request to expedite based on financial loss (pending job offer). USCIS emailed me another four days later asking for evidence for financial loss and I faxed them 22 pages of proof including job offer, child support and medical coverage being delayed. Today I got the update that the new card is being produced.

congrats!

Only status change today is that the EAD card (assuming AP too as approved) has been mailed to me. Also have babies anatomy scan today so hoping for good news all round!

Did you have a status "Case was approved" before the change that EAD has been mailed to you? Mine currently looks like:

"January 28, 2021 Case Was Approved

January 27, 2021 We ordered your new card."

But I can't tell if the card is supposed to have been shipped now or still waiting on that. They also wrote "We sent you an approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice." in the latest update.

When the card is shipped you will get an update to say so, as well as when it’s delivered.

I hope your anatomy scan went well today 😁 .

His status changed today as well (only on the EAD though) to " card was mailed."  Yay!

No word on the interview date and apparently USCIS can't tell us anything over the phone about what the date is, so we will have to wait for the notification for that.

A few have reported being able to get interview date info via Emma chat:

But experiences can vary wildly.

omg guys I'm freaking out. On my informed delivery, it says that I have 3 pieces of mail from USCIS, all in the regular letter sized envelopes. Do you think that something went wrong with my application? I think the delivery doesn't come until 3-4pm, and the anxiety is killing me!

I sent in RFIE yesterday actually, and I initially submitted I-485, I-765, and I-131 in August, but I-765 was rejected twice and just accepted about 2 weeks ago. I don't know what it could be that they need to contact me 3 times, even if one of them is the good news of the biometrics appointment. My online status hasn't changed at all.

EDIT: I guess the other one is probably the mailed receipt notice for I-765. I still don't know what the 3rd one could be!

Two from USCIS and one from national benefits center. One seems to have the line so I think it's the biometrics, one is probably a receipt for I-765, but I already have receipts for I-485 and I-131.
