We moved to a new states a couple of months ago. I submitted the address change online, but I would definitely call to follow up and ensure it has been changed on all forms.  I could see our old state was still referenced online so I called and there was some issue their end. They submitted a separate service request on my behalf, which got processed about 10 days later and I could see the update online. We've received mail at our new address now (RFIE) so I know it's worked!

Perfect. I will do just that then. Thank you so much!!

Congrats! Hoping my letter is good news like yours!

So good news for me, got my Biometrics appointment NOA today in the mail, Dec 22 for me.  It seems to be for I-485/I-765 which means they seem to be doing I-944 & Biometrics at the same time. I'm sending my I-944 on Monday even though it's "blocked" in CA right now (as I mentioned on the last page). California is kind of a mess right now cause of Covid so I hope the center stays open.

Hoping all the August filers who are still waiting get their NOAs for Bio soon!

Hello AOS August Filers,

Update: My wife did her biometrics appointment for I-485 today and she received a notification yesterday that her EAD card is being produced! Also, we got her foreign education documents today as well! We are just waiting on one more document and will have I-944 send off again by the end of next week hopefully!

Just want to thank everyone for posting their updates and questions because it has been very helpful!

Congrats!

So, after that we can assume that RFE (I-944) and biometrics move in parallel, right?
It seems we don't need to finish one to start another one.

Yes they are moving in parallel! My wife got an RFE for I-944 and did her biometrics today for I-485!

No that's not the case. I wish lol. She had her I-765 appointment on 10/30. They are moving slow, but we are grateful to have the biometrics appointments done!

Great news. You make a good point about the offices staying open in CA, I didn’t even think about how the new restrictions could effect that. Fingers crossed for both of us!

Guys I'm so frustrated 😩can I vent for a second? My husband and I moved to a new state in September, we notified USCIS immediately, I called 2 times to ensure my address was updated correctly for all forms (which it wasn't the first time, but was corrected and fine the second time I called), and we have received RFIE for I-944 at the new address (so I know they have it!). Today, I get a message from someone at my old address saying that they received a notice for biometrics me today (yay!!) BUT it's in my OLD ASC LOCATION (15+ hours drive away and on 22nd Dec!). I know so many of us have been waiting for biometrics, and I can't bear the thought of rescheduling after waiting so long, but flights are ridiculous and it's so far! I will call on Monday and see what they suggest. Ok, pity party over, I'm just sad and frustrated in this process 😔.

It was common pre-covid (i.e. out of town on that date, etc.), but even now you have a strong reason since it's a big mistake on their end. You did everything properly by reporting the change of address and you also followed-up on that.
