After three days it will show this: "We are taking longer than expected to process your case. You do not need to do anything at this time."

That's exactly what's gonna happen. This was my case. Mine was 10 days. When 10 days were up, I received the bolded.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Yes, same happened to me lol.

I am expecting a long wait because of Covid-19. I just wanna be done with biometric and then forget about the application until further notice.

Estimated time doesn't mean anything.

For mine, estimated time was this July, 2020. And it's passed and no update yet :)

I agree, it doesn't mean nothing,  that's why they are calling it ESTIMATE. It can change anytime.

My estimated n-400 completion is October 2021. i-751 pending and transferred to NBC.  n400 Application acceptance  in the first week of August 2020. Seattle jurisdiction. It’s about 14 months total, in theory. No biometrics appointment, yet.

Usually what happens is, the time will pass the estimated date and stay that way long long time :)

They will reuse my fingerprints. Hopfully everything goes smooth and i get my interview letter.

Hi! May I ask how you know that they will be reusing your fingerprints? Did you not get an appointment for getting your biometrics done at all?

Just curious since my account currently says my estimated wait time is "1 day" which is what I'm assuming is when I'll be getting notified about my biometrics appointment.

May 31, 2017 - POE: Seattle (B-2 Visa)

June 9, 2017 - Got married!

-

04.12.2018 - AOS packet (I-130 & I-485) sent with G-1145

04.24.2018 - Received NOA for I-130 & I-481 via txt & e-mail; Checks cashed

05.17.2018 - Biometrics Appointment (I-485)

11.13.2018 - Interview Scheduled

12.18.2018 - Interview Done @ Denver, CO Field Office : APPROVED on the spot

During the interview, I expressed my concern to the officer about my EAD/AP card and why I haven't heard anything about it 'til now. He confirms that my application for it wasn't even on their system. (Eh!!?)

I didn't ask any more about it though since he said I should be receiving my conditional GC in the mail soon and an EAD & AP would be useless at this point. ._.

12.21.2018 - 2-year Conditional Green Card received in the mail [validity: 12.18.2018 - 12.18.2020]

09.24.2020 - Scheduled Biometrics Appointment (hard copy received)

They sent me an online notice that that they scheduled my appointment and the letter will take 3 to 5 days to be uploaded to my documents. After 2 days i got the letter online saying they will reuse my biometric and i don't have to do it again. It happened the same to me its says 1 day estimate but after that it changed to we are taking more time then expected for about a month and half or 2 months.
