Goodness this thread usually is on fire are approvals slowing down at USCIS. DQ's seem to still be cranking out.

My birth certificate got rejected today and it shows this message. However I checked the NVC website and it says birth certificate can be from municipal corporation for Pakistan but still rejected mine. But the scan was of bad quality so I think they rejected mine bcz of quality.

So is this a generic message even for bad quality scanned documents or do I need to get another birth certificate from some different issuing authority?
Very confused and stressed

based on State Department Visa Reciprocity for Pakistan

also was there anything on the back of that birth certificate?   And I seem to recall reading somewhere that the edges of the document need to be visible.

No there is nothing on the back side, that’s what I thought too that they might need proper scanned version. Do you have any idea what’s message shows in inbox if the documents are rejected based on scan quality?

Finally submitted all our paperwork to NVC today, we got this message. I imagine it is just a generic message, can anyone confirm that?

NVC cannot review your submitted documents until we have received all of the required documents DS-260, Civil Documents and Financial Documents. Once these documents have been submitted, we will review your case. Please follow your CEAC Home page and https://nvc.state.gov.

It looks like some documents are still missing. Have you submitted documents for both: the petitioner and beneficiary (i.e. both sections say "Submitted")?
