My husband just finished his interview at the embassy. Aside from waiting for the medical exam results to arrive, we are approved! :)

Congratulations.

This really is not making any sense at all.  From what I understand is that Trump has allowed family based immigration to continue, and is stated on the US embassy in Bangkok website.  But, the NVC is saying that routine immigration is suspended until further notice, which seems to be including family based immigration.  But then I see other peoples post here that they are getting interviews.  Well maybe sometime this year we will get ours. 🙂

People from your country are getting interviews? If your embassy is not open to regular scheduling then there's nothing they can do until the embassy gets to that phase. Do you know what phase your embassy is in.
Other embassies do not apply every embassy is on their own phase. Has nothing to do with the President's proclamation.

Sadly, Brazil hasn´t disclosed this information on social media. And thus far hasn´t responded to any social media questions.

Individuals interested in the operations of a particular post should contact that embassy or consulate directly.  Contact information for embassies and consulates worldwide is available at usembassy.gov.

Hi, I’m also doing  a ir2  but i didn’t send the i864w because it’s not valid anymore ,you just send a note saying no i864;needed because of the child act 2000  .( for a minor son)

It was valid at the time we submitted last year

C.o. asked for the i864w that was previously submitted and approved by nvc. She said she could not see it on ceac on the day of the interview. I also showed her the original copy I had.

After interview when I checked, it was right there!🤷‍♀️

Wow, that's crazy.  Keep us posted!

Thanks. They have been extremely vague with their answers. The reality is that no one really knows. But I'll try to search for answers obsessively regardless 😂

Do any one know when the Embassy in Guyana will reopen or where I may be able to find more information. Going on 241 Days without being able to see my husband (in Cuba) and it doesn't help that there is no information being given.

I heard when the Embassies do open they are prioritizing US Citizens, does any one know if that is true?
