Fiance(e) visas allow for derivatives. Spousal visas do not. If your father does not file separately for each of your siblings, they will not be able to come to the US. That is how it works

Okay I see . It made really sad :(

I understand. However, there's no way around it. If your mom is not able to come to the US before your siblings, have your dad ask NVC to hold her case, or have him ask the embassy if her file has already left NVC. And make sure he files for your siblings immediately; he will have to pay the $535 filing fee again for each individual case and he must make a separate petition for each of them. He can send them in the same packet to group them together, but each child need their own filing fee and petition. Once they are approved and sent to NVC he can request their cases get grouped with your mom's so they can get an interview together, if she doesn't go to the US before them

one more question . If he will file today for my siblings, how long will get approved ?

That will depend on whichever service center they get sent to; it could be 7-12 months before their I130s are approved, then they have to go through NVC processing as well. He can try for an expedite at USCIS level with a letter explaining what happened, but there's no guarantee they will give him the expedite since it's his error unless there is an emergency

Thanks for all the info @LilyJ I was really at a loss when he said his dad wasnt a us citizen at the time of the birth. I didnt know if the CRBA applied or not. I guess it makes sense that it doesnt.

A lot of knowledgeable people on VJ. Interestingly enough all the FB groups seem to be full of completely clueless folks.

what is the covid situation there? Cases down? Is country reopen?

i feel like they are not reopening Africa, Middle East, Asia countries. I’m following Pakistan, where cases are down & the whole country reopened Monday. Yet no sign of embassy

That's True..I'm waiting in UAE :( No news yet....

I know someone who was DQ'ed on May (mine is on June) and they are still not giving any interviews for normal processing.

UAE Embassy only works twice a week and doing emergency and expedited interviews.

I don't know when I will see my husband again 😩

It's same with Canada. The cases are way down and still no signs of opening
