NVC cancelled never scheduled appointment

Here's a further update. I heard back from the consulate about delaying my appointment to November, and they told me to just email them in October to schedule it for then. In both my case and in another case I've heard about, they scheduled appointments for less than two weeks out, so don't be surprised if you get one that is relatively last minute. That said, it was really easy to reschedule, so I wouldn't worry about it causing problems too much. I've also noticed in looking at everyone's timelines here, they seem to be scheduling these interviews at random. I have the impression that I have a comparatively late priority date and DQ date and was scheduled first. It's really crappy that they do that, but it does seem to be the case.

Anyone received any communication yet from Embassy about the Interview? I am thinking to contact the embassy on Monday to inquire about the Interview date.

I just received my interview appointment a few hours ago. I would wait and give them some days.

I called them last week as I also haven't heard from them yet. They said to email to frankfurtvisainquiries@state.gov. This was the response I got :

It's weird that you guys still didn't hear from them. 

 

But you guys can prepair already everything. I'm in a rush to organize everything in a few days.

I emailed them again since there is no way to get a hold of them over the phone. But I just receive the same message: We've received your case blabla... I guess that means --- more waiting 🍺

Hi everyone,

i got my visa appointment yesterday for Sep 4th. I emailed them last week and got a standard email. Then on Monday I called. So far during the whole process, every time I made an inquiry or asked for an update I got some kind of response soon after. Good luck to all of you, I’m sure you will hear something soon.

My husband was assigned an interview for August 25 ☺️. They sent us an email on Friday afternoon. 
 

Does anyone happen to know if they are requiring the DS-5540 Public Charge Form for the interview? There’s so much conflicting information online. And I would rather not fill it out if we don’t have to...
