Pretty sure the pick has to be black.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Right? Cocaine was insulted to be compared to Kamala or Karen.

It's very strange that people aren't more concerned of the fact that Biden's choice (lets be honest, he's not doing the picking here) HAS TO be a woman, preferably black.  In other words, competency seems to be secondary (or tertiary) after gender and race.

It is said, regularly, but it's also like saying the grass is green.

We've repeatedly discussed over the last handful of months that intersectionality and the Marxist-derived identity politics scorecard of victimhood will play a role, because the intent of the people formulating it is no secret.

So apparently Joe is surprised that this has become a legitimate cat fight between the "top tier contenders" and has delayed his decision for 2 weeks.

I thought he was still in his bunker.

Everything surrounding this guy's candidacy is delicately staged, including the anticipation here. Has his carcass been dragged across the convention finish line yet?

Biden campaign says it has agreed to debates already, but Trump camp has not

“Whatever you do, don’t debate Trump,” Lockhart wrote on CNN's website. “Trump has made more than 20,000 misleading or false statements, according to the Washington Post. It’s a fool’s errand to enter the ring with someone who can’t follow the rules or the truth. Biden will undoubtedly take heat from Republicans and the media for skipping the debates. But it’s worth the risk as trying to debate someone incapable of telling the truth is an impossible contest to win.”

The show Rising had a good piece on it today and laid it out pretty good. After I saw this I wouldn't be surprised if there is no debate.

Can anyone name a person they voted for for President due to the excitement of a Veep pick?

Uh, McCain? :P

06-04-2007 = TSC stamps postal return-receipt for I-129f.

06-11-2007 = NOA1 date (unknown to me).

07-20-2007 = Phoned Immigration Officer; got WAC#; where's NOA1?

09-25-2007 = Touch (first-ever).

09-28-2007 = NOA1, 23 days after their 45-day promise to send it (grrrr).

10-20 & 11-14-2007 = Phoned ImmOffs; "still pending."

12-11-2007 = 180 days; file is "between workstations, may be early Jan."; touches 12/11 & 12/12.

12-18-2007 = Call; file is with Division 9 ofcr. (bckgrnd check); e-prompt to shake it; touch.

05-05-2008 = Infuriating $12 call to non-English-speaking consulate appointment-setter.

05-06-2008 = Better $12 call to English-speaker; "joint" interview date 6/30/08 (my selection).

Personally, if Biden stays in his bunker and refuses to go on the Sunday shows or to debate Trump, this will help galvanize the thought that he is really heading into the mental ditch.  Remember, the poll a little more than a month ago where almost 40% of likely voters thought Joe had early stage dementia.  I wonder if anyone is going to update that poll.

Didn't Biden already commit to a pick based on race and gender?
