Update: Got I-751 acceptance text message today.

Our bank still does not show the check being deposited yet...usually that updates overnight for us.

Hey Geo, I checked money orders this morning and it says they've been presented for payments. I'll check again later or tomorrow to see if they're cashed.

I think they'll cash them soon. Looks like those of us who had our packages delivered last week are getting movement with the payments. Now for the receipt notices!

Package delivered this morning (Dallas via USPS). By what I'm seeing, I should expect a week to pass until I get the NOA and check cashed?

One week or so to see them take the money. After that, another week to receive NOA. Ours was delivered last Wed; check cashed early this morning. PHEW! Best of luck!

At least this process isn't as stressful and nerve-wrecking as the whole I-130 process. We can just continue going on with our daily lives with our spouses with us.

Hello everybody!
I thought I'm hopping on the wagon here; it's been a while since I was on VJ!
I've sent my package on 07/31, the received date according to the status check is 08/06 and the money was already taken from the credit card.

Maybe I get to see some familiar faces from the March 2017 K1 filers thread! :)

Good luck to everybody!
Greetings from Alaska!

Hi guys,

Joining this thread as I am sending in my I-751 petition tomorrow.  Doing some last minute stress checking and writing up a cover letter that feels harder than it should.  Also sending mine in at the last possible moment before my green card expires.  Anyone else here filing extremely close to the deadline?  No judgement please, I have a one year old and don't live near family.  Time goes so fast when you have a toddler!

Hi there, I did. I send mine out on July 29th from overseas, received on AUG 6 and my GC expired on the 8. Just had a baby so that’s my reason for filing last moment

Thank goodness it's not just me (phew).  I appreciate you sharing :).
