That would be nice, but it couldn't be the new card.  We only sent the application 3 weeks ago. We haven't gotten noa1 (so no case number) and they haven't cashed the check yet.

If it is the returned application, the only thing I can think that is wrong is that I wrote the check from my account and not our shared account, so the check doesn't have my wife's name on it.  She's the one removing conditions.

I don't think it's matter who named on the check.

Received an email notification yesterday (8/18) saying that fingerprints were applied to my case. Looks like they are still waiving biometrics for August filers. Hang in there guys!

Oh dang you and I have basically the exact same timeline. Hope we all get biometrics waived. I don't want to ask for a day off etc.

USPS Informed Delivery says we are expecting something by Priority Mail today.  It departed from the Coppell, TX, distribution center which is just outside Dallas and the closest to the the Texas lockbox.  Still now email, text, or cashed check, so now I am wondering if this is our application being returned.  We started preparing that application months ago.  I can't imagine what the problem is if our application is being returned.  😩

I am so upset with myself.  We started preparing my wife's paperwork to remove conditions soon after completing AOS in 2018 and even after reading so many others' mistakes, we still used an expired i-751 form!  It looks like USCIS started processing the paperwork because it is all out of order, stapled, and contents are crossed out.  So, we'll use the CORRECT form, reprint everything, and start again.  Ugh!

That's a pain! You're not talking about the form that expires at the end of 2019 right?

USCIS forms do not expire on a preset date. The expiration date on the forms is for OMB review & comment only.

USCIS goes by Edition Date in the lower left corner. When a new version comes out, they give a date of when they will stop accepting the prior edition.

You don't need to reprint everything. Just print the filled and signed I-751 and put it on top of the previous package (and remove/destroy the old I-751). I was wondering about your package because it seemed like it'd been rejected and the check would not have been the reason.

Once I figured out how USCIS reorganized everything, I was able to reuse almost everything.  We just sent it back to the Texas lockbox - with the correct i-751 edition from the USCIS website.  So, we're still August filers and hopefully will have a receipt text and NOA soon!

A couple interesting observations about what was sent back to me . . . we organized everything with paperclips and binder clips.  All of those were removed and what we sent was stapled with big (inch long) staples in 3 piles.  The first pile was the application and tax transcripts.  They purposely had to assemble these together as we did not include the transcripts directly after the application.  The other two piles were just randomly separated and stapled.  I say randomly because part of an  electric bill was at the end of one pile and the other part began the next pile.

Also, the staples were not done neatly in the corner, they were about 3 inches down the pages and in the center and off-center.  One pile was stapled 3 times.  I had to use pliers to get these staples out., so I don't expect anyone at USCIS would be going through these piles page by page to examine them closely.  They also cut out and included the FedEx box label in a plastic bag as well as the folder and sticky label we put the entire application and evidence into like they were part of a police investigation!

I'm about to send our package tomorrow. I noticed they updated the direct filling of the I-751 form to the Arizona Lockbox.

Hopefully there will be a grace period.  We resent my wife's rejected application to the Texas lockbox yesterday before they updated the website with only the Arizona address.  Her application is scheduled to arrive on Friday.  I am sure there are many others already in transit to Texas also.

Sent i751 packet on 8/10 to Phoenix, Arizona

Delivered on 8/14

Nothing since then.  Anyone have a timeline for the Phoenix location?

Arizona has been faster than Texas.  Several people have gotten text notifications in 4-7 days recently from the Arizona address, so your should be soon.

Thank God, I saw your post. Planning to send mine off this week. That’s crazy! All affidavit letters has the previous address. 🤷🏼‍♀️
