Thank you for replying! And wow I had no idea you could file taxes for previous years, I never even thought about that. It’s weird though because I’ve only had a social security number this past year or so...I’m not sure how that would work out when trying to file jointly for previous years.

I’ll definitely look into filing for previous years tho, thank you for opening my mind to that, I appreciate it

Yeah as the other person said, you can use SSN for previous years too. For people without SSN's, they get what's called an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number). It acts basically like an SSN. And they can use that to file taxes as well. So if you had filed taxes in the previous years, the ITIN is what the accountant would have used for you instead of an SSN. But you have an SSN now so it's all good!

As long as they receive I-751 before card expiry, you're all good.

For sure! Still won't bring the bloop pressure down until I get some sign that it went through!

Greetings August peeps,

seems like ages since the process for the K1 and the wait. Then the AOS. And now ROC. Anyhoo mailed out about 1 1/2 trees worth of paperwork and documents. In July. Got the USPS return a few days later. Just got the text alert my packet was received 8/4/20 and the NOA will be sent. Check still not cashed but at least I know we’re in the running.  Hoping for calm seas and smooth sailings and hopefully no RFE’s. I wouldn’t complain if we could skip biometrics and hell they can waive the interview too if they want. We already enjoyed the first one.

mine was received in Texas 8.11 but still nothing,  check not cashed, no sms

My wife's application was received in Texas August 4, but still no notification by text or email and the check hasn't been cashed as of 8/18.   😳

From what I have found from the timeline search function, we are approaching the more extreme limit of wait times for people submitting to Texas in the past coupled months.

Did you send it via USPS or UPS/FedEx? I wonder if there's a time difference in sending it to the PO Box with USPS versus the Lewisville address via FedEx/UPS? I sent mine via USPS to the PO Box. Arrived the 11th, still waiting myself.
