Medical results to arrive at the Amsterdam consulate

I had my interview on July 21st and I had my medical exam in Amsterdam a week later on July 28th.

does anybody know how long it really takes for the clinic to transfer the results to the consulate? The clinic says it will take 1-2 weeks once the results are received by the clinic and then it’s up to the eMedical system to transfer the results. does anybody have experience with this?

Hi!

When I was doing the K1 process I had the medical test first. Almost 1 month later I had my interview. I sent my package to the Amsterdam address and not The Hague one.. I had to send my passport scan and everything per e-mail. Got to my interview, everything okay. I was approved but they kept asking where my medical was. I overheard someone say the Schulte doctors stopped with the medical and I was like okay but I did my test, here is my receipt. She said let’s wait a while and I’m sure it arrives soon. So it arrived one week after my interview so it took about a little longer than 1 month to arrive for mine.

Wow 1 month that’s a very long time! I had to do my medical at DC kliniek in Amsterdam and they told me the clinic will receive the results within 1 week but it will take another 1-2 weeks until the e-Medical system sends the results to the embassy.

were you put on AP because your results arrived later? If yes, was your visa approved as soon as they received the medical?

How did they let you have an interview before you had medical? I already did it wrong because I had to wait for another letter which I didn’t get lol.. I was placed on AP, as soon as my medical arrived my visa was approved. Didn’t take long at all because i had my interview around 24/11 I think and received my visa the first week of December! Can you see something on the CEAC website?

It took about a month for me, but that was at the height of the Corona crisis in the Netherlands  (march-april). At the time, and I imagine this still holds, the doctor's  office would send the results to the embassy in Wassenaar, which would forward them to Amsterdam. Mine got lost somewhere along the way and it took them about a week to find them. If you feel like it's taking too long, you may want to send an email to the Amsterdam IV unit to check.

Oh wow 4 weeks is indeed a long time! I didn’t know they send them to wassenaar though, the doctor told me she submits it’s on eMedical and I thought everything is digitally available after that but apparently not! Thank you for sharing your experience though
