I am the petitioner need help with i864 and i864A ( co-sponsor & Household member)

Hello Everyone .....

I am the petitioner and living single in USA. I am a US citizen.  I filed 2 separate i130 one for my spouse and one for stepchild  and they both got approved and now getting ready to file with NVC online. Though I met 125% poverty guidelines but I falls very closely with the minimum income required by the USCIS . For the family size of 3 I need to have minimum $27,150 to qualify . My Total income on most recent tax is $29,500 . And I am independent contractor( self employed) driver with uber. Should I go for  co-sponsor  during this NVC process or wait for the consulate to ask to do so. I have a friend who is ready to help me .He filed his taxes with her spouse and he has "Total Income " $60k . He is living with 2 adults children and  they are above 21 and filing their taxes separately but living in the same home with parents. So, I hope I  need to file 2,  i864's from the co-sponsor side , one for my spouse and one for my step child ( 19 year ) along with 2 , i864A -( From household member side) for both my beneficiaries  . Both are living abroad and never been to USA before. Please help with these questions..

1. Do u think its a good idea to file for joint-sponsor though I met minimum income requirement but I falls very close to the minimum income number and I heard consulate are looking for 250% income requirement instead of 125% to be in good position and to avoid beneficiaries to be on public charge.

 

Please help with these questions one-by-one in sequence to avoid any confusion.

 

On i864- joint sponsor for spouse , the numbers would be like this :

Part 2, Item 1.a,  which is about the principal applicant will be :  My spouse details...Right?

Part 3, item 1, yes ...Right?

Part 3, item 2 and item 3 and item 4.a about ALL Family members ones, will be left blank......Right ?

Part 3, item 29  will be 1. ..

Part 4 about be all about joint sponsor (husband) details....Right?

Part 5,  item1 = 1( sponsoring immigrant is my wife),   item 2 = 1 (joint sponsor himself),   item 3 = 1 ( since joint sponsor filed as married ),  item4 to item7 will be =0 . since no one else ,except 4 of them living in the same house. So,  item8 = 3 ....Right ?

 Please help.

So, the  Household Size would be 3 on both i864s - joint sponsors forms.  Please correct me ..

 

3.   On i864A  (from be household member side ) whose income is combined with the co sponsor income reported on the most recent tax return. I have to file 2 separate i864'A        (along withe the  2 i864's co-sponsor ones ) one for my spouse and one for step child .Please , answer..

 

4.  On one  i864A (for my spouse)  from the household member side.

Part 4, item 2.a, 2.b and  2c.    (which is about TOTAL income reported on 7b of 2019 tax . This is the combined income of both co-sponser and household member together listed on recent tax return and NOT  only the individual  household member's income )...plse reply.

Part 5, item :  Indicate number ? should be 1 right ( since sponsoring immigrant here will be my spouse on this i864A)

Part5 , item 1.a to 5,  will be the details of my spouse  only and item 6.a to 25 will be left blank....right ?

 

5.On one of the i864A( for my step child ) from household member side

So, I have to list my spouse on one i864A  where it says " indicate number" and then their details and my step child on the other i864A where it says " indicate number" and then indenting immigrants details there after .  

So, in part5,  where it says " indicate number". would be 1 on each of the separate i864A's for each of them .

Is there anyone who can help me with above post regarding my i864 ...co sponson and i864a ...household one. Replies will be appreciated from visajourney community.......you have to just say no or yes to those above posted questions . Just ....copy and past and say no or yes to those . I have to make sure I filled them correctly. Pls help...thanks
