USCIS says case is still pending, but interview already scheduled!

Hello,

I read about people who had not received their NOA2s from their I-129Fs so I assumed the same had happened to me, but after a couple phone calls it sounds like my case is unique!

The USCIS status page still says my case is pending, but the NVC received the approval, forwarded it to the consulate, and my wife's interview is already scheduled. I called the USCIS because I wanted to have a copy of the NOA2 in hand, but they are confused and unable to help because my case in the system still shows "pending". The only suggestion from their call center is to write a letter to the California Service Center and ask what happened.

Has this happened to anybody else and is there anything to worry about?

I would ignore USCIS at this point, and continue with the embassy/consulate; as that is more important.

I got an NOA2 in postal mail -- online status is pending Interview is about to be scheduled...

I called and they still show pending in their systems and the web site is useless

same here. I was still pending online and they finally sent me an email after I requested them to look into it. Funny enough, I was already in the US

Same thing here! Packet is already at the Embassy in Kiev waiting for interview to be scheduled. But CSC has not changed status for one month. I does not matter the embassy has the approval now and goodbye to CSC. Focus on the embassy. Dance and celebrate!!!

You are not unique. The USCIS online status page shows my I-129f as pending also, and my K3 wife is now waiting for approval of her I-765 petition to remove conditions on her LPR status.

Don't they need the hard copy of the I-197C approval notice (NOA2) to file for Adjustment of Status?

My I-130 for my wife (K-3) status online still says it's pending but I received the I-197C approval hard copy for both the I-129F and I-130 at the same time.

Apparently not - lack of the Approval Notice for my I-129f did not hinder my wife's adjustment.
