Waiting for a NOA2 from VSC for your I-129F?

I won't even call because I think the stupidy of that organization will push me over the edge. I don't want to piss anyone off until I get my NOA2. That being said, this organization is a joke! it is run horribly like most government organizations. My only advice it to take whatever they say with a grain of salt. They are idiots.

Sorry to ask this but how does the RFE trick works, i mean if i say that i have a question concerning the RFE i received (know that i dindt get anything like that) and they ask what typ of question, what do i answer?

It looks like your case was already approved, so there is no need for you to use the RFE trick. If you are calling because you didn't receive the hard copy of your NOA2, which you will need for AOS, then simply tell them that.

If your case was sent to NVC, has you fiance received packet 3 from the embassy? Have you tried calling the DOS to see where your case is?

I called because i didnt recieve the hard copy of the approval and they told me that they dont have any records about my case and at another time i called, they said that they need the new case# to able to check on my case.

DOS = Dept. of State. DOS phone number 202 663 1225 ( press 1, 0, 4, 3, 0 ). However, if you don't have your embassy case # they may not be able to assist you. It sounds like you have a situation just like the poster udlike2no2.

Thank you for the DOS # I just called and they where great. Gave them the Case number that NVC gave me and she said I was approver NVC received it on Aug 15 sent it to Kiev on Aug 16 and Kiev received it on Aug 22 and sent Packet 3 out to her already. OMG #######. Yes I am happy but I feel bad for everyone else that this system is so messed up. USCIS is still saying I am not approved and now they are waiting for NVC to fix the data in the system as long as they here from them that I am approved so I can get the automatic NOA2 sent out. Dam I could have sent my income info if I would have know this. She will probably get the packet 3 like today or tomorrow. GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR. Good luck guys USCIS seems like they are the ones that are totally F$%&ed up.

I know-it is extremely difficult. I just keep looking forward to the next time I get to see my fiance. I leave this Friday night to spend a week with him in Spain. That should hold me over for a few weeks. I am still holding on to the hope that I will get my NOA1 the end of the month.

I don't understand how someone that got their NOA1 in May still does not have their NOA2. RIDICULOUS!

What I don't understand is some people said they have been able to call and see if their case has been assigned to a person yet.

USCIS would not provide me with any info and said I have to wait a full 6 months before I can truly complain.

Any ideas?

Hi everyone! Thought I would drop by and say hello I just sent my I-129F packet to the VSC today. They should have it by tomorrow 3pm. I have been lurking around this forum and this topic particularly the last few weeks hoping to see some improvement in the times, but it seems to be going the wrong way. Oh well, I was prepared for 100-110 days anyways because I should have been at the TSC before the changes.

Also, anyone know to edit the "filed for" and "country" info in the profile? I cant figure it out.

The only thing i do ...I check the USCIS website like 100 times a day...i thought that i would get an e mail or that any time that they touch it would show a touch...DONT tell me that they are not even reliable with the touches or the emails.. ....this is getting worse and worse

Who doesn't check USCIS wesbite like 100 times a day!!! Jeez!!! I'm going crazy with this waiting game! Last week I called USCIS, they give me the same info that is online, your case is still pending and bla bla bla. This girl told me that I have to wait 6 months...I'm like...what???? 6 months???? starting from...????? And she said, " Starting from today". And before saying no f*cking way, I've been waiting almost 4 months and you're telling me to wait 6 months more.....I hung up! She gotta be freaking kidding me. That can't be possible.

I would love to have that kind of job, answer the phone and give cases status information that is on the screen! Heh heh.

Anyways, let's see what this week brings!!!!

I know it's 6 months from the NOA1 but that proves one more time how bad the service is that they don't even keep their emplyees well-informed or updated of what's going on.
