Waiting for a NOA2 from VSC for your I-129F?

bszoom, just a little curious, if im not wrong, i think adam and tarah on the list got an approval already...i thought that VJ would pdate that and remove the name from the list? just wondering because they were on the last list also and were approved at that time also

My fiancee also will be attending interview in New Delhi, can you please tell me where to obtain the police clearence certificate & procedure, is it from Pass port office or police station her pass port was issued in 2005 in New Delhi and stayed in two places in Delhi.

This is a better question for the South Asia forum. That being said, Your fiancee will need at one from the regional passport office; and also one from the the local police office, if her passport is more then 6 months old. You will also need it from any areas other then Delhi your fiancee lived after the age of 16.

Hi all

Well I think I know what the hold up was on my case. I received today when I got home a letter from the NVC saying that we were approved and is being forwarded to the embassy in Kiev. The approval letter had my old address on it and had a date of letter Aug 17, 2007 and was in a regular hand written envelope send out on Aug 31.

I was touched on June 19 and that is right around the time that changed my address. The NOA1 is May 9. So It has been sitting around but who cares I have it now. Still don't have the NOA2 but it looks like the letter might be in Kiev this week so can make her interview. All in all they skipped right to the NVC and interview and never received a NOA2. Yes I am very happy but this puts a new twisted on the guessing game on ####### are they doing out there and how long is it going to take. The answer is no one really knows so all I have to say is sit back don't worry and wait. I personally just gave up and said it is what it is.

16 July 07 - I-129F delivered to VSC and signed for by P. Novak

20 July 07 - NOA1 issued / receipt number assigned

27 Sep 07 - Jason travels to Moscow to be with Sasha for 2 weeks

28 Nov 07 - NOA2 issued...TOUCHED!...then...APPROVED!!!

01 Dec 07 - NVC receives/assigns case #

04 Dec 07 - NVC sends case to U.S. Embassy Moscow

26 Dec 07 - Jason visits Sasha in Russia for the 4th and final time of 2007 :)

22 Feb 08 - Moscow Interview! (APPROVED!!!)..Yay!

24 Mar 08 - Sasha and Jason reunite in the U.S. :)

29 Dec 08- Alexander is born

11 Jan 10 - AOS / AP / EAD package sent

You may not be see what happened to me. the papers could be in NVC and you dont even know it.

Actually, I'm sure Byron has been keeping in touch with them. Something like that probably wouldnt pass him by for very long. Though, I could imagine that happening to me down the road.
