P.S. Parag, can you tell me how you changed your Platinum Member title to read something else? I'm on the verge of reaching that 9th square. Thanks!

Hmm. Thanks, buddy. I guess this feature won't show up until after I've hit 750 posts officially.

As for the H1Bs i feel a lot of sympathy for them. Because a couple people at work are going through it, and they literally have waited YEARS to try to get their things in order, and their denial rate is very high! They have to pay $1,000 just to submit that application !

I sympathize too, however that doesn't mean USCIS should put a semi-hold on the other visa applications. For those of us who applied for k1/k3, etc.. our lives are in a way put on hold too. What was the rationale for the fee increase if it wasn't to hire more people?

The problem is they have two timelines:

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profil...l=&id=36056

http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/profil...l=&id=34081

They need to have those two linked, so the VisaJourney.com data will be correct.

I've been looking for ways to to keep myself occupied while waiting for my petition to be processed, so I compiled this list of I-129F VSC filers with NOA1s waiting for NOA2s. The data is from the VJ.com timelines, and specifically from the reports available on the timelines. The number I have listed to the left of names is simply the sort order based on NOA1 date.

Obviously, we have no idea what order VSC will process NOA2s (once they start processing them for us again) but its something to help pass the time.
