Still number 25.. :whistle: ....not complaining! My adjudication date actually went from Sept 15th to the 14th.. :blink: ...tomorrow is a new week...lets keep our hopes alive!

Good morning guys , the weekend already ,we called our lawyer , she told us that she is SURE , that must of May filers will get approved starting this week , I really hope that is true , well we gone a very long way and we almost there .

Next week is our celebrations week :dance:

I'm wondering what makes her so sure? What's is this based on? I sincerely want this to be true, but just was wondering how she got this "inside information"?

Well personally I don’t know how she got the inside information . and she is a lawyer she must had so many approval already for her clients … that is why she is sure we will be next . I just heard that and I had that big smile on my face …. … …. We will see this week …. if that not true ……she is fired … :angry:

You are assuming she has inside information. I doubt it, but who knows? I hope she is right.

As I have said before, when I start seeing a lot more NOA2's per week I will get enthused. Until then I am in the pessimistic category. I have not seen any evidence or heard any plausible theories that lead me to conclude that things will pick up dramatically as some seem to believe. :(

Here are the latest summary stats. The July "surge" in petitions is starting to be evident, but it does not appear to be huge at this point.

22 Jun 05 - We met in a tiny bar in Williamsburg, Va. (spent all summer together)

27 May 06 - Sasha comes back for a 2nd glorious summer (spent 8 months apart)

01 Jan 07 - Jason travels to Moscow for 2 weeks with Sasha

27 May 07 - Jason again travels to Moscow for 2 weeks of perfection

14 July 07 - I-129F and all related documents sent to VSC

16 July 07 - I-129F delivered to VSC and signed for by P. Novak

20 July 07 - NOA1 issued / receipt number assigned

27 Sep 07 - Jason travels to Moscow to be with Sasha for 2 weeks

OK! I'll give it a try!! :thumbs:

Let's see if this works. Over the last 4 weeks, VSC has approved an average of 4 K1's per week. I am number 123 on the most recent list. At 4 approvals per week, it will only take me 30.75 more weeks (215 days) to get my NOA2! :dance:

Hmmm. Something is wrong. Why don't I feel happy? :(

I know I am Mr. Gloom & Doom recently, but I am not always this way. I consider myself a realist. Show me a valid reason to be optimisitic and I will jump at the chance. But as of this moment, the numbers look very bad. Why are they bad? I don't know and that is adding to my frustration.

Theoretically, May petitions should not have been impacted by Texas petitions being sent to Vermont (starting on July 30) or the pre price increase surge. And yet, May K1 processing time is almost triple the average for the first three months of 2007 and it is still increasing. What the heck is going on?

If anyone has a theory based on fact to explain why Vermont slowed down so much or why it will speed up again soon please let us know. I would love to feel more positive about how long this process will take! :clock:

05-13-06 - Met at Neo Nightclub in Chicago through a mutual friend.

05-24-06 - First formal date, followed immediately by weekend spent together.

09-07-06 - First trip to the UK. Sick most of the time, loved it anyway. :)

11-21-06 - Alasdair comes in for Thanksgiving.

03-28-07 - Second trip to the UK, flew out to Northern Ireland to meet the parents.

06-12-07 - Alasdair's next visit, we go everywhere and do everything. :)

06-17-07 - We become formally engaged, though it'd been in discussion for months.

07-27-07 - I-129F packet sent to Nebraska Service Center.

08/20/2007:Touch(got an email from USCIS,our case has resumed) due to the RFE strick call,also the officer said whenever you got a blue paper from us,that doesn't mean RFE,a green one mean RFE.in our case,we got the blue one.But still sucks,delayed our case,wasted our time.

08/21/2007:Touch(not due to the phone call)
