I have seen one approval from Vermont this week so far. Is that correct? Please tell me I missed a bunch somewhere.

The last K1 approval from Vermont was 8/18. There were 2 that day. The last K3 approval from Vermont was on 8/14.

So it looks like there were no approvals this week so far. I think one of the 8/18 approvals did not announce it until this week, but I am not certain.

Including Saturday, we have approximately 3 1/2 days to go in this week. So don't give up hope yet!

Called to check case status 12/15/08 were told we are still in processing time

Medical appointment 1/31/09. husband loses RFE paper same day.

New RFE paper received 2/28/09..gee good thing that RFE isnt due til beginning of April!!!!!!

EAD Approval was NOT updated online. We had an infopass meeting for 3/6 and then the EAD shows up in the mail on 3/5!!!! cancelled appointment,

Ok what i am about to say may cause a ruckus but i think i am prepared for it. I have come to rely on VJ.com for support as most others have as well. But I had a thought today - all these hopes we have - all these statistics we read are all ONLY based on the people who are actually logged onto VJ - but that thought- along with seeing that i had moved down to 129 rather than 124 and realizing there were probably just as many people if not more not logged into VJ -How many of these 128 people ahead of me are actively updating their timelines. How many people out there actually cared enough to continue to give us their updates? In looking at the portion of the list that shows the latest approvals the petitions being approved are all showing having received their NOA2's within about 90 days of their NOA1 - with the exception of the one or two who were from march and april.... While i agree that they are not approving too many cases these days - how many approvals are actually being recorded on here? is the excitement of an approval distracting once committed VJ'ers from keeping our statistics alive??

December 31, 2006 - I call to wish him a Happy New Year (It was 3 am his time)

May 14, 2007 - Fly to Syria with my family to meet

May 18, 2007 - His entire family comes to my house to ask for my hand - I say YES!

June 15, 2007 - We get engaged in the church and have a reception for our families (it's the only "wedding" his family will see)

June 22, 2007 - I come back to the US

June 24-July 27,2008 - lots of research on VJ and work on gathering the papers needed...

July 31, 2007 - I-129F package received by VSC - YAY!!!! I was sooo excited getting the return receipt in the mail - on my way out to look for bridesmaids dresses :) Now all I need is a case number so I can track online - I'm so anxious!!!

August 13, 2007 - NOA1 - YAY!!!

JANUARY 8, 2008 - APPROVED!!!!

May 14, 2008 - he's finally here

June 22, 2008 - "Wedding Bells"

August 7 - Adjustment of Status and EAD sent

August 11 - Dates of both NOA1 for AOS and EAD

and we wait....

September 4, 2008 - Biometrics appt in Phila for both AOS and EAD

If your concern is that there are lots of dead timelines, that would not be the norm for this site. Look at these VJ stats and compare NOA1's issued for January through March to NOA1's issued. You will see that very few members abandon their timelines. There are normally only 1 or 2 dropouts per month.

Amrssnowangel has looked at the specifics of the remaining April filers and feels that many of them have dropped out. And perhaps they have. But that would be the exception to the norm. I general, VJ members seem to be very diligent about maintaining their timelines. Also, a NOA2 is only half the battle so most members stay active at least through their interview.

Keep in mind that VJ does not factor in timelines that have not reported a NOA2 when they do their projections. Thus dead timelines will not have an impact on the VJ projected ajudication dates.

I agree that the waiting list represents only a small percentage of the total number of people waiting for NOA2's. However, it is still fun to see how we stand within the VJ community. Also once one breaks the top 20 on the list, it is possible that approval could come at any time so that must be exciting for those at the top of the list. When one is #119 like me, there is not much to do but wait for all the deadbeats to get out of the way. ;)

If you ask me, I think that being that the NOA2 doesnt mean that the couple are going to be together ...then I think that it would actually be exciting to list on here because everyone on here practically becomes family! Im sure that after being on here 90, 100 or 120 days with everybody during the wait for the NOA2 ....I will actually want to let everyone on here know the good news after telling my fiance and my family!

I can't believe I went to work for 9 hours, came back and still no news about an approval from anyone? AND my date has slipped 6 days since noon!! Whoa. And to top it off i dropped another 2 spots on Bszoom's list. That's it, Bszoom! I'm gonna come at you like a spidermonkey! :ranting: Ah, I'm just kidding, of course. Just some stupid movie humor to break up my blues... :P

22 Jun 05 - We met in a tiny bar in Williamsburg, Va. (spent all summer together)

27 May 06 - Sasha comes back for a 2nd glorious summer (spent 8 months apart)
