Gday-

99 days and we were approved! Apparently, on a Saturday. The email said a notice was sent out on the 18th, so currently that is 2 approvals for the 18th and two people with NOA1's on the 17th of May! :D

Just wondering, I am here in the states and wanted to know how long it takes to get packet 3 sent to the home address in Australia.

I hope this means a lot more approvals are coming!

Congratulations! Your approval was 93 days from your NOA1 and that is a few days less this the 14 day average of 97 days for May NOA1's. Good job!

I do not know if this applies to Australia, but in Colombia we don't wait for the Package 3 to arrive. We download package 3 from the embassy website or get a copy from someone else. We then fax it to the embassy requesting an interview date. This can get our interview scheduled up to a month earlier than if we wait for the package to arrive. You might want to check out if that option works for Australia also. You cannot do this until the package arrives from NVC at the embassy. There is a way to figure that out also. Follow the link in my signature to the Colombia Club and read the early posts. The instructions are there.

Good luck!

Bill

CONGRATULATIONS JonOz AND Soaringeagle on BOTH of your K1 NOA2'S!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO GO VSC!!!!!!!!!!! There were 4 or 5 petitions with NOA1S of May 17th. I'd assume that the others will follow shortly this week with more approvals to. Im finding that the NOA1 dates are pretty much going in order, with the exception of the few. AND BOTH these couples were approved almost 3...yes THREE WEEKS earlier than their adjudication dates....20 days ealier to be exact. NOA2s were May 18, Adjudication estimate was September 6!! HOW COOL IS THAT!!!

Good luck everyone, hang in there....our turn is a coming!!!

I don't see myself on this list, but I should be.

Stephanie and Darren NOA1-6/20/07

I've been looking for ways to to keep myself occupied while waiting for my petition to be processed, so I compiled this list of I-129F VSC filers with NOA1s waiting for NOA2s. The data is from the VJ.com timelines, and specifically from the reports available on the timelines. The number I have listed to the left of names is simply the sort order based on NOA1 date.

Obviously, we have no idea what order VSC will process NOA2s (once they start processing them for us again) but its something to help pass the time.
