Waiting for a NOA2 from VSC for your I-129F?

OK In the spirit of trying to stay positive I did some numbers. Taking all the NOA2's from July 1, 2007 for both K1 and K3 I found that there were 32 approvals (yeahhhhhhhhh). K1 and K3 combined had an average approval rate of 103 days. Thats very close to the 109 days VJ is estimating for my adjudication date. When I split the K1's and K3's..I did find K3's took almost a month longer for the I129's to be approved. So K3's alone took an average of 125 days for approval while K1's took an average of only 91 days for approval. In looking at K1's that have been approved seemed most were approved 1-2 weeks BEFORE the adjudication estimate. So I am deducting that the estimate for adjudication includes BOTH K1 and K3 petitions. So when estimating WHEN you THINK you may get your NOA2. I'd say..the estimated adjudication date given by VJ is a good one to keep in mind. Prepare for the worst...and hope for the best. So Im not to upset thinking that my adjudication date is October 6. IF the numbers go as they have been....i can expect an NOA2 between September 25 and October 15......those are just MY personal "lookout dates". Till then..im gonna sit back, relax and take the ride.

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

So i just got my NOA2 today - also found this forum today - and cried for the first time while on VJ today - i don't even care that i'm #124 on this amazing list. Its just good to have something to track - i had never been so desperate to be touched or poked or whatever!! :P

We spent a long 3 hours on the phone today - its amazing how u can find so much to talk about when not limited to a phone card (he doesn't do it often, but every once in a while he'll call from the house and run up a phone bill) i always get off the phone after one of these calls so sad for a while i've forgotten he's so far away and then it has to come to an end - he told me he had to go an hour and a half into it - but somehow i managed to keep him on for another hour an a half......Love is simply amazing.

Enough of that on a funnier note - my best friend wants to know if there is a support group like this for best friends of ppl waiting for approval! She's goin nutz listening to me...

December 31, 2006 - I call to wish him a Happy New Year (It was 3 am his time)

May 14, 2007 - Fly to Syria with my family to meet

May 18, 2007 - His entire family comes to my house to ask for my hand - I say YES!

June 15, 2007 - We get engaged in the church and have a reception for our families (it's the only "wedding" his family will see)

June 22, 2007 - I come back to the US

June 24-July 27,2008 - lots of research on VJ and work on gathering the papers needed...

July 31, 2007 - I-129F package received by VSC - YAY!!!! I was sooo excited getting the return receipt in the mail - on my way out to look for bridesmaids dresses :) Now all I need is a case number so I can track online - I'm so anxious!!!

August 13, 2007 - NOA1 - YAY!!!

JANUARY 8, 2008 - APPROVED!!!!

May 14, 2008 - he's finally here

June 22, 2008 - "Wedding Bells"

August 7 - Adjustment of Status and EAD sent

August 11 - Dates of both NOA1 for AOS and EAD

and we wait....

September 4, 2008 - Biometrics appt in Phila for both AOS and EAD
