BUT................

Ive adjusted to the idea of waiting...........FINALLY. Thank you God. Im at peace with it. STILL going to do something about it IF I can...IF for no other reason to feel better, and maybe make it easier in the future for others AND our AOS. But...I"ve adjusted...mostly due to you people here. You are so kind, caring and truly understand. Who else can understand better than you all who are traveling this road together with me. We share the same feelings, emotions, fears, joys and heartache. Everytime one of you posts for Mel and Syl or Mirla or anyone else...I can FEEL your empathy...that you truly KNOW how they may feel. THAT inspires me...you guys are my heros...every last one of you. I am truly happy for those of you approved....and...so thankful u have stayed to encourage, cheer us on and share your progress. THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart. Its still hard to see others that filed 2-3 months after me get approved...but I can now count it ALL joy to have this issue. Cause the working of my faith will create patience in my life. So that I may be mature and not lacking. Thank you to all of you...thank you God for the peace only YOU can bring into our lives....

He said he's expecting NOA2 and worrying about not getting it yet..

He sent I-129F and got NOA1 on June21 and on June 26 they touched his case..

He says he saw lot of July filers already got their NOA2's and he concerns about his..

He is saying that they filed the I129f June 21 and has heard nothing.....that they see others in July getting there's and want to know why they have not gotten theres and what to do?????

Bueno, no eres solo. Hay muchos peticiones de Junio que no han sido aprobados aún. No sabemos porque. Probablemente no hay un problema con su peticione, pero hay problemas muchas con el centro de servicio en Vermont.

Tu tienes su NOA1, entonces sabemos el centro tiene su peticione.

Su peticione tiene un edad de 6 meses. Entonces puedes llamar para recibir ayuda con su situacion pero tenga hablar ingles. Habla su prometido/a ingles?

Hi Y'all. I am new to this wonderful website. Like many of you, I am a mid June filer with no touches of note (one touch early on at the end of June). I share your sentiments about how messed up the system is and I feel the roller coaster taking me lower and lower every day. Sara, my fiance', is stressing about this heavily and this forced separation is weighing on us greatly. Our relationship is wonderful and we will weather this storm but this is one we should never have to endure.

There are a few things I'd like to share -

-My lawyer's paralegal finally broke down after much prodding early this week and called the VSC (oh yes, "Service" is our middle name!!!!). She was told that they were currently processing applications dated May 19th and that they are averaging one day's filings per day. My response to the paralegal was that the VsC person was being "less than genuine" with her due to the fact that petitions are being handled totally out of order. Her response:

-My congresswoman sent in a letter on my behalf early in November (3 weeks after her staffer promised me that she would). Yesterday, I asked her staffer to inquire again as nothing at all had happened. She said that they now must wait until the end of December to call due to "Congressional protocals". That sounds bogus to me.

-On Wednesday, I wrote both Senators and I have not yet heard anything from them. They will certainly be getting calls on Monday a.m.

As my peition is rapidly approaching the 180 day mark, I am wondering what effect if any will my calling the VsC on the 180th day? Do any of you have experience with this? If so, will it do me any good or will I just get told to call back in 30 days?

Last, I just want to say that I am very impressed with the great support that all of you have provided to eachother. Just reading posts the last few days has been inspiring.

Hi I am Lora......Oscar and I filed June 5 and have heard nothing also.....I have done everything you have and have gotten the same lying response.......Today is my 180th day.....I am calling them on Monday......of course the customer service people get to be with there loved ones on the weekends unlike all of us.......This has been very stressful on Oscar and I also but I have to believe that through all of this we will be stronger as a couple because our love has been tested like this.......you can see also in this thread that we have sent chocolate and press releases and questions to TV stations....I even am waiting for a Congressional liason to get back with me about hearings....I have contacted Senators and Congressman.......an I do not take bullcrap from them.....I vote and I remind them of that fact when I speak to them...they work for me....they are not doing me a favor here........It is there job to work for us.....I am really thinking about going to Washington tomorrow....I live very close and walk into the Department of Homeland Security and talk to anyone who will listen to me....even the guard.....with information from this website.......they are inept, uncaring and it is unreal that this has been allowed to go on like this.....that federal agency is this customer unfriendly......so Yes my friend I feel your pain....I feel your frustration.......and my suggestion is to become a pain in there butt......You are there customer......How much worse can it get????......I wish I had waited and filed in July....Lora

Hey Eunimar,

Como Bill y Bella dicen, no sabemos porque muchos aplicantes del mes de junio no han sido aprobados. Estamos viendo bastantes del mes de julio. Yo soy de mayo y aun sigo esperando porque 8 dias antes de cumplir los 6 meses me enviaron un Request for Evidence. Bill tiene razon, debe de haber un problema con Vermont pero no te preocupes si no tienes un touch, yo solo tuve uno 5 dias despues que ellos recibieron mi caso y he visto muchas personas que les ha llegado su aporbacion sin nunca haber recibido ni un touch.

Lo que puedes hacer es llamar o en todo caso el novio(a) a este numero (solo dan informacion a ciudadanos americanos, los aplicantes mas no a beneficiarios) Aqui le decimos el Request for Evidence (RFE) trick.

El numero es 1800-375-5283 luego te van a pedir que marques unos numeros dependiendo el servicio que necesites. Pero aqui te los doy. Una vez que marques el numero 1800 que te di, los siguientes son, 1, 2, 2, 4, 2, 1, entras tu receipt number que empieza con EAC..., luego presionas 1 para verificar que el numero es el correcto, y luego 1.

Le dicen trick porque a este numero solo se llama cuando recibes un Request for Evidence....pero puedes intentar llamar y decir que estas apunto de cumplir los 6 meses y que estas preocupada(o) sobre tu aplicacion y bla bla bla...puede ser que funcione como tambien puede ser que te digan que ahi no te pueden dar status de casos y que llames a customer service (lo cual es una perdida de tiempo!) Otro mentirita que hemos usado algunos para llamar ahi es la del abogado, jejeje, deciamos que teniamos un abogado terrible que no hace bien su trabajo y que el dice que aparentemente tenemos un RFE y estabamos llamando para verificar si es cierto......bueno, es la unica manera de saber si es que tu caso sigue en el mismo lugar que llego o si esta con algun adjudicador quienes son los que estan encargados de procesar las aplicaciones.......

Bueno espero poder haberte ayudado y mucha suerte en todo! Se paciente y no pierdas la fe por nada del mundo!!!!!
