Heh, I really didn't stay up all night. But I got up and had the CRIS email in my box at 6:30 am!

Whoo!

Also, VSCers, I got a letter from my other senator back home (I am in Texas as of this writing) so when I get home I will continue to follow up with them even though my own case has been approved.

Just letting you all know that I fight for what I believe in even if I have no personal stake in it anymore (well, sorta).

That's my man!

No really, it is. I'm Amy, hi everyone.

I made this account ages ago, and then he made a seperate one, which I guess was kinda silly of us, but never mind! Congrats to Jason and all who've been NOA2'd, and to the rest, hang in there!

As much as I hate to say this....VSC is slow and not very organized. I think they were the hardest part of this entire process for us. Not very timely. Time cost on their errors. Not consistent with their updates or there verbal information via the telephone. The positive thing is that once you are out of VSC....sailing should be smoothe and swift.

Happy Holidays!

Dont kid yourself...where do you think we have to go for adjustment of status??? And 10 year greencard renewals?? THIS will NOT end till people take a stand and speak out. This doesnt end here...not by a long shot...

Congratulations! It looks like that all nighter paid off. :)

I mean, like I told Amy. I am overjoyed to have been approved. It was...at best, about a month before I expected to see it. We only waited a little over 4 months, not the "5.2" that is supposed to be average if you believe DHS (and you shouldn't).

The government still sucks, and still needs to be poked and prodded and yelled at until they get off their collective asses and change their ways.

I firmly believe that the only way we'll get anywhere is to keep yelling, so keep yelling I will.

Maybe after she gets naturalized I'll stop caring. Or not.

You all deserve your approvals, or, at the very least, a straight answer as to why you don't have it yet. Why is that so hard for them to do? That is the million dollar question.

OK GUYS!!! I put all my courage together an called Vermont using the RFE trick ( i know it sounds funny cuz i got RFE'd) but anyways, this is what that nice lady told me.

She asked me my name and then asked weather the petitioner is there with me and i said no his in Italy. She then said, im sorry but i can not tell you anything about the case if the person who filed is not there. I said Mel is in italy right now and can't call. We are almost at the 60 days i need to know whats wrong with our case. When she heared that i said Mel's name, she said ok mam what i can tell you is that your case is with an adjudicator at this moment. I dont see anything wrong with the case so you must here something very soon. Then i asked her just in case we dont hear anything until Dec 1st, what she thinks that we can do weather we should get our congresspeople and Senator involved? She was quiet for a sec and then said no you dont have to do that, you will hear something very soon. I said well thats whats on the USCIS webpage and i think we will have to do so. She then repeat herfelf again and said mam your case is with an adjudicator dont worry the answer will on be its way very very soon. I then told her that i know they have a lot to do but she also needs to understand us. She was like i do understand what couples are going through and im very sorry but that's nothing i can do. I was like YOU cant probably do anything but the system needs major changes and she said you are right.

Oh God i am so nervous, i dont know how to feel right now. Is this getting to an end??

Please pray for us!!!

It sounds like she can't tell you anything specific about the case since you aren't the petitioner. It almost seems like she's trying to tell you something without actually telling you something, if you know what I mean?

As completely frustrated and angry as I am, it may just come down to luck. You can get a shitty adjucator or a fast one. Maybe the person who has mine is a slow worker and goes on a lot of vacations. Who the hell knows anymore....
