I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much, but my NOA1 is exactly one week after yours! I hope we all have our NOA2s before Christmas!

Steph - I feel really bad you want to stay away, but I know it must be so tought to see all the approvals and touches for people who filed after you. I'm still cheering for you to get your NOA2 this week!

Thanks. I appreciate it. I was ok for awhile, but now that I know it is close, and others are getting approvals after me, I am starting to get anxious. If I just knew someone had it and it wasn't lost I think I would feel better. My birthday is December 5th and I guess I was hoping to have it by then. :wacko:

You know, if you don't hear something soon, you can get your congressperson involved. Its according to your priority date on the NOA1, not the date it was processed (which for you I believe the NOA1 is dated 6/20 but surely if you mailed it 6/4 they received it much sooner). Drfinitely something to think about if you don't get that approval by the end of next week!

Mirla, I truly hope you are right! I guess its common for everyone to feel the way i'm feeling right now. after they've received that "touch". I'm so happy to know that its obviously with an adjudicator, but very nervous at the same time. Oh please let there be no issues!!!

I mailed it 6/4, but got an RFE cause my fiance wrote the check incorrectly, so the NOA1 was dated June 20. I called my senator and I am waiting on a call back.

Can you really start to bug your congressional advocate before the 180 days? I know I could get it tomorrow, and I'd probably wait anyway, but I'd like to be prepared to make a ruckus beforehand :D

Im almost sorry I called..... :crying: :crying: :crying:

I got Officer Nancy...who seemed nice but seemed to have a different story. When I called the other day, she said the adjudicator had gotten my case...would be ordering name checks which take a few days and I'll hear shortly after that. THen I get these touches.

NOW today she said he's had it since NOVEMBER 21. That the touch today was simply an update to some data in the system, and that I should call back in 30 days. Many there are on vacation and that some work slower than others (BY AN ENTIRE MONTH??? WHERES MANAGEMENT???) . That it could still be 30 more days.....Ok Im officially broken. No more positive, no more anything. I dont get it....how can it go from a few days, anytime to up to 30 more days????? And now she says the NAME CHECKS are the LAST THING before they issue an approval.....Thats not how it sounded the other day...Im sooo confused.

I was like....dude! Look at my timeline!!! hahaha! I think on every page there's at least one post from me!

Oh God!!!! At least give me once sign that they have my RFE in the mailroom!!!!!!!! Jesus!!! There are a lot of things that can be done by phone instead of sending letters to VSC!!! Don't you agree!!!

I mean, the least they could do is to check in that stupid mail room if my RFE is there!!!! I'm sure they must have every mail received by date....or are they messy and disorganized!!!!????? Our deadline is december 16th!!!!
