Waiting for a NOA2 from VSC for your I-129F?

Question: Is there a way to track your petition after leaving NVC if you have the case number?

O.K. back on the line with my Congressman's office this morning and she talked to the floor supervisor at the VSC.....She said that my personal petition was "found"...not sure what that meant and that the supervisor was going to process those "found" with mine.....Not sure what that meant but she said "soon"...I should get an answer...So if others that came in around mine start getting approved then we can assume...I guess...that it was not in the place it was suppose to be........the case work also said that they are still "training" most of the 1500 new employees and having them working with more experienced employees so this may also be slowing them down......I ask how long they train and she said the average is 30 to 60 days.....but like all places all do not make it.......Just to let you know what I found out.....thanks guys for all of you understanding of my "complaining or whining"....I will try to do better...Lora

I have been reading and catch up today. I don't think anyone should have to feel bad about complaining or venting or whatever. It's an open forum, I guess if you don't like the complaining and venting, don't read it? I like when people vent, that way I can help or others can help and realize they aren't the only ones in the position. Just my opinion...

Exactly, I was completely unaware that God worked at the Vermont Service Center. Well, if he does, I hope he processes my I-129F soon or I may join a pagan cult.

Everyone here (save a handful of people who filed in September) has a right to complain. It's a message board and VERY easy to ignore complaints if you don't want to read them. I promise posts containing complaints will not continuously pop-up in a message box until you read them thoroughly.

I completely agree. I posted a response to that ridiculous comment then erased it. I am glad the both of you commented on it.

I read the comment and said WHAT!?!? I re-read it to try to understand that he or she didn't mean to say that.....started also a responde but erased it....WHATEVER!

Im not sure how it is going through Nigeria...for example ...through Colombia i tracked it through DHL which is the courier that gets it to the embassy.

Also my petition was received at the Embassy last Friday and the Packet 3 was sent out yesterday!!!

I am happy to hear that Leidy is doing better, we thank God. Still no news on my side though but i will get Mel to send a letter to his congress people. VSC said we'll hear something WITHIN 60 days but it looks like they either want to wait the whole 60 days or something is wrong somewhere. However, i am happy for those once who moving

Don't worry Lora! Lima's embassy is very very quick! I know a few people who after they got their NOA2 got their visa in hand after 4 weeks.....so let's say that you get your approval today, you still have the chance to spend new years with Oscar!!!!

She's home ...she's actually out and about,,,,she is faxing the Packet 3 stuff which i had already downloaded to the embassy as i type.....When i got to her, her eyes lit up!!! She had no clue i was coming and she just said...OH MY GOD ...what are you doing here!! She lloked so happy and it made me feel good to see her like that after what she went through!!!!

WE WERE TOUCHED TODAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can not believe it. I know that we may still get RFE...but at LEAST we know someone is looking at our file. Im in tears. I cant decide weather to laugh or cry...weather to be happy or scared. WOW. Mixed emotions. Almost 6 months of seeing the same date. Just to know someone opened our file and is looking at it. I wonder if a touch means they ordered our background checks? Or if it means the name check is done and now they are reviewing it. Either way...

Wow, thank you for the update..makes sense about being "found" and plays into the idea of WHY mid Julyer's are getting approved while we sit. To be fair...I wouldnt find it odd for some things to get out of order with sooooooo much going on there..

You are such a sweet person...Im sure God will reward you greatly for your faith and patience. You have been an inspiration to me...I just want you to know that. I read your posts and they are so calming and you are always so happy for others even though you 've had to wait yourself. You truely are an example of a Believer.
