Pace Picks Up Slightly Despite Thanksgiving Hoilday

Here are the new VSC summary stats that reflect approvals dated through November 24th.

The projected number of processing days is based upon the number of open petitions divided by number of petitions approved per day for the various periods. As the approval rate changes, the projected processing time will change also. Perhaps dramatically. Please do not take the projections too seriously. However, projections may be useful in determining if your plans are realistic given the current rate of approvals.

This table lays out very well in my Internet Explorer. If it looks strange in your browser please let me know. Suggestions as to how to make the Summary Stat Report better are welcome.

Doh! Spell much? :bonk:

Sorry!

Bill, once again thanks for the stats. I really hope your projections are completely wrong!! I want my NOA2 before Christmas!

Well, I don't really think of them as my projections since they are simply calculations based on recent approval rates and the number of open petitions. I am not doing anything except crunching numbers and putting them in a table.

But I know what you mean. Lets all hope VSC picks up the pace! :)

Hi, thank you for the charts and statistics. Just one question, and excuse my uninformativeness.... does that mean that some September filers have been sent NOA2's ahead of us August filers?

Thanks,

I know how you feel...our noa2 is the day before....my SO is getting impatient. Its starting to wear on us both.

Yes, it seems to get harder the closer we get to it. I don't understand why other late June/July filers are getting approvals and we haven't even gotten a touch. So frustrating. I am afraid to call anyone at USCIS because that will only frustrate me more. If someone there tells me to wait as a solution to waiting already I will lose it.

Hi, thank you for the charts and statistics. Just one question, and excuse my uninformativeness.... does that mean that some September filers have been sent NOA2's ahead of us August filers?

Thanks,

hz

Yes. Ahead of August as well as any open petitions from May, June & July as well. It seems to have stopped happening, but it was very annoying when it occurred.

Booooooo...

Yeah... but it's even more f* up the fact that they haven't approved ANY August case but did September!!! Aergh!!!

Conditions lifted 10 yr GC in hands since Feb. 2011!
