I think VSC will speed up soon. That could be wishful thinking, but I'm sure they will.

*fingers crossed*

Your time has gotta be soon!!! That new May approval must give you hope!! Sending lotsa good mojo your way so you get that NOA2 THIS week!!!

There are alot of people in front of me :P. Send them your mojo so they can get out of my way and I can move up on this list!

Just kidding, I can wait my turn :innocent:.

Yay, you're petitioning from the United Kingdom, too. Where at exactly?

Well, I want all the April, May and June filers taken care of so VSC can move on to MY approval  Sending positive mojo to all who filed before me!!

I am having a tough time waiting, I'm just not patient

Anyway. My fiance is the Brit and he lives near Chester, in a teeny tiny place called Sandiway (though he actually lived the majority of his life in Warwick).

Please add Marty and Lisa. Filed at Vermont for K1. Going through London. I129F sent 23 July, NOA1 August 1st 2007. Thanks!

Please update your timeline with your NOA1 info. Also, you should PM this info to weedebz who maintains a spreadsheet for the July filers.

Congrats on your NOA1!

julezabelle is correct. Once you update your VisaJourney.com timeline (not your signature timeline) then your data will be reflected in the report the next time it is posted.

I wasn't suggesting that new petitions were causing the delay. My understanding from another thread here was that the service centers have BEEN handling these petitions this way but Petitioners were still to use the OLD way to file till July 31. My understanding was that Vermont was getting Nebraska and CSC was getting Texas...either way CSC is Churning out those k1's...what is the hold up with VSC??? THAT is the question. I may be wrong but im pretty sure that these centers HAVE been getting the extra K1's without a slow down.....but VSC is almost at a standstill while CSC is on a roll....why.......

well that is definitely for sure...this is the first time in history that VSCers are jealous of CSCers...we have absolutely no idea what is going, and literally NOTHING is happening...just to clarify, previously CSC was recieving petitions from NSC and TSC...vermont was just recieving petitions for VSC...probably part of the reason why they were always so quick with approvals...as for nowadays, who knows

No approvals from VSC since August 2nd?!?!?!?!?!

:o

I wonder what is going on there.

i thought that there have been no approvals since July 31...did i miss an NOA2?

July 31 was the last i saw for K1's.......but there was one today...YEAH...they ARE still alive up there in VSC!! But like my SO says....one a week...hmmm....we still have a 59 week wait at THAT rate....(going by the list here that we were number 60...how cute) So ANY ONE know what the hold up is in VSC??? You'd think they'd issue a statement or SOMETHING!!! This is getting depressing....BUT the good side is...most seem to be getting an approval in about 90-100 days..and to be honest...(dont everyone beat me over the head at once now) I don't think a 3 month wait is soooo bad...if the END result is my love being here and NOT 8000 miles away...the HARD part is the WAIT. I have no cheerleader in me today....

GROUP HUGGGGGGG!!!!

I'm not really that stressed out! When/if I get to the point that Clarky & Tarah are at now, THEN I'll be stressed! Otherwise, just passing the time with my buds on VJ!

Girlfriend, where have I been??? I just now saw that you'd filed!!! (A big DUH for me on that one)

:dance::D

Also, question for you VSCers! I saw where a few folks who used to be Texas filers (before the fee hike) filed at VSC, but were then transferred to CSC. Just wondering if any former Texas post-fee hike filers were having the same experience?

Did that make any sense?

I'm sure you can appreciate the complete and utter relief I am experiencing over FINALLY filing!!! :D As for not noticing, well I figured you're very busy basking in the glow of being a newlywed! :P Lucky girl!!!

Regarding former TSCers now VSCers having files forwarded to CSC...haven't seen it, but I think its a tad early IF that is going to happen.

What is the deal at VSC????

Tis true :D but still not a very good excuse for my 'senior moment'. And yes - I can TOTALLY understand how you feel to get that albatross from around your neck!

I know that I've read of at least two people who that has happened to - I believe LisaD is one of them.

No idea - but I have noticed its gradual slowdown over the past month or so -- even before they took on some Texas and Nebraska filers. They used to be lightning fast, and while I expected some slowdown with the new filers, I didn't expect it to hit this soon (or even before the fee increase).

Perhaps its something as simple as staff being on summer vacations?

I know LisaD and StillthePrettiest both were transferred to CSC but that was before the new processing centers went 'officially' into effect. I haven't seen that happen to anyone that filed at VSC after July 30.

I know I read in a thread *somewhere* that VSC were prioritzing other types of petitions for awhile, but that they'd be back up to speed mid-July. Obviously that hasn't happened. Oh I wish I could remember where I read that! So, there's MY senior moment!!!
